Not to be contrary, but the Hawks lost both their starting OT's in the first half when they were up. Playing the second half without them was the real difference.
Perform like this v the 9'ers and I will be more impressed.
With that said, it was a great win.
Also considered the fact that we own the hags but that second half defense was historically good. What Morris did with such a lack of experience and talent was impressive.
Like you, I will be even more impressed next week if this continues but I will also keep in mind that those whiner pukes have owned us too, no matter who is coaching or playing! lol
Anyway, IMO, getting those kids ready to play and have them play as aggressively as they did was awesome and not easily done. Credit to Morris, Lake and Pleasant!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
