There were a couple passes in the first half that were a little behind Puka and went incomplete. To the casual viewer it looked like Stafford missed the throws, but in reality - since it was against a zone defense - Stafford expected Puka to set up in the soft spot in the zone. But Puka kept running (which is the right thing to do if it was man defense) and that is what really caused the incompletions.
Had Puka been running those routes correctly he likely would have had 7 receptions in the first half rather than 5. But it was nice to see him make the adjustment and I would be surprised if that is an issue going forward.
