The Rams paid the piper to trade up for Goff and McVay moved on from him. They paid the piper a second time to acquire Stafford and it paid off.
I don't get the piling on the 49ers for Lance not being as good as they projected.
I know the 9ers are our enemy and we like to see them fail, but the laughing in their face for swinging for the fence isn't my style.
I'm glad Lance didn't become a star QB and they F'ckd up their evaluation. I won't pile on them for it. The Rams drafted Goff (and I was on board the whole time) but he wasn't what I thought he was going to be.
Brock Perdy is their consolation prize. He may pan out or he might be a one season wonder. Who knows?
When it comes to trading up in the NFL draft for QB's, I applaud the teams that swing for the fences.
