Just curious: how did that uniform design pick up the nickname of "Ferragamo's"?
One that I can't answer for sure. I think they are associated with Ferragamo because they wore them in the Super Bowl Ferragamo played in...and should have won!!! Waddy's STILL open!!! lol
Here is a cool link that breaks down all the changes throughout Rams history. It's a long but very good read.
Enjoy...
linkHere is an "excert" that kind of explains why what Kevin Demoff did was sooo wrong...
"More on That Groundbreaking Rams Helmet
As Timmy noted in his detailed history above, and as Paul and others have noted over the years, t
he Rams were the first team to ever paint a logo on an NFL football helmet, way back in 1947. The “artist” was former player Fred Gehrke, who ended up painting the now iconic Rams horns onto the teams leather helmets (for which he was paid the tidy sum of $1 per helmet). There were a total of 75 in all."

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
