That's exactly how I see AD. Not everyone leads by being a cheerleader, and it's quite fine by me if AD walks a different walk.
His "cheer leading" really came in handy during the Super Bowl, didn't it? How much do think that helped us? AD got this dudes fired up!!!
Even Von Miller saw the need to have to "bring it out" of AD.
Von knew AD had it in him and apparently thought he needed to say something to AD in the biggest game of AD's career. He did that for a reason IMO.
As I said, I am fine if AD doesn't become more vocal and engaged. He will still be the GOAT. However, even GOATS aren't perfect. I also think it's ok to want to see your GOAT get better and still appreciate what he does do.
I don't want this to sound as a "knock" on AD at all. I love AD as much as everyone here does! I just think this would take the level of respect AD gets to a new level...if that's possible...and the team sure could use that "energy" from him this year!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
