Hi RD,
My opinions differs slightly on AD - I don't need to "see" him rallying the troops on the sideline, except for the time he did in the NFC Championship game, when we were down in the 3rd Qtr to the hated Whiners.
To me, the time that he helps other players is when no one can see. And I bet my bottom dollar that's what he does. During OTAs, during practice, etc. When nobody (fans or media) is watching is when I think he has the best chance to help our team. But that's just my opinion.
Hi There 69!
Like you, I was just stating "my" opinion of what I want to see from AD this year. I don't "need" to see it to know how great AD is and it also doesn't mean he isn't a "leader" if I don't see what I am looking for from him.
I agree with you, AD is most likely doing all those things you say he is doing when "nobody is watching" and I bet that he has been doing that since day one.
He seems more of a "quiet" leader than a "vocal" leader hence Von Miller having to get in his face to bring out the "vocal" side of himself when the team needed it the most from our GOAT.
And as we all know, AD rose to the occasion and became a very vocal leader and you could see his team mates sucked in to AD's energy and it worked!!! H3ll, I was sucked in just watching it on tv. I wanted to put a helmet on too! lol
Well, IMO, we need to see that "vocal", "engaged" side of AD more often. He showed he has it in him, it just took Von Miller to bring it out. Von is not here anymore so it will have to come from AD himself and I think he knows it too.
I think we DO see a more vocal, engaged AD this year. Not only when nobody is watching but all the time!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
