The Rams had a back up plan last season which totally failed. First, they thought they had depth all over the OL, but everyone beside Havs went down including backups. Also, we had Hendu and Akers splitting carries. That seemed like a good idea, but somehow they couldn't share. They tried to trade Akers and couldn't. Then they cut Hendu. Behind them both they traded up for Williams who also got hurt and when he was back they didn't feed him the ball. Could be this guy will be good.
We had that other fast guy who was also a returner and was hurt. Rivers was picked up and is a big strong young guy, but we know little else.
Henderson "splitting carries with Akers" was the type of continued nonsense this team has subscribed to that has caused this offense no end of problems. It goes back years. Years of him failing to be there every single time the team needed him. And Akers also has not been able to hold it down.
This is what I'm talking about. Quit with the definition of insanity. Draft a backup BELLCOW type back. Someone who can eat carries. It can be a basic bellcow type or a dynamic all-arounder, either have the potential to ground this offense from the depth position, just a matter of when you want to draft one.
