I think the Rams are moving on from Akers.....His disappearance last season was all hush hush and the Rams kept it all under the carpet.
Kyren Williams will be much better this season and he'll be our #2 RB.
Rams will TRADE Akers and a draft pick, then MOVE UP and get the RB they want when the timing is right in the Draft. I would not be surprised at all if the Rams move up from #36 to grab Gibbs.....If he's there at #26 - #30, then I think Trader Les is going to go get McVay "his RB."
In a McVay type offense....Gibbs can line up anywhere and become a defensive matchup nightmare. His speed and explosive 2nd gear will give you glimpses of a Tyreek Hill, and in the open field forget about any LB trying to cover him, and yes the guy can catch the football.
