Not with Catln--but that Knox was not a good hire . . . he didn't have
the innovation needed for 90s football.

Didn't like Knox II
was okay with Brooks, but was wrong about him
Didn't like Vermeil, out of the game too long, but I was wrong, and glad I was wrong
Martz - Rams had to do it, he was major reason for '99 and for Warner, but had flaws
Linehan--I thought he was like Brooks--I was okay but not excited
Spagnuolo--excited about him. Loved what he did with Giants...thought he'd turn team around
Fisher-not my favorite, but was okay with him. But IMO he was hired because he was okay coach but had experience moving a team
McVay-liked the hire, is the kind of coach I would have liked in 1992, young energetic - like Steelers got in 1992 and others, youth movement

Was too young, really, but didn't think Knox should have been fired in first place... and was too young to even
know who Knox was in 1973

Allen 2? Again--didn't know what to think, just thought Knox was a good coach with meddling owner in the QB thing
