As hard as it is sometimes, they might just be best to know when it's time to get out early as opposed to getting out late. We can resign a bunch of those guys and our defense will remain average to above average but I don't think it will lead to another super bowl. Or you can just accept that that version of this defense is dead and start building it from the beginning. I personally would love to see them start with building a monster secondary.
