Look we don't have the players on Defense that Demeco Ryan had.
Not sure he would be successful with our 2022 roster. His defense was not perfect, but it was very physical. We were weak in our DBs with Jalen our only consistent bright spot.
Also, before I fire Morris if he does not get hired elsewhere, I would look at McVay's desire to run another defense and marryig Morris to that scheme which by the way has struggled when applied with the Chargers.
Talent and scheme must mesh but forcing a scheme requires sacrifices.
Look at KC they do a lot of the same stuff and have breakdowns, but the DC "Spags" is creative and can pull some stuff out of his hat at key times.
Morris can do the same. Perhaps he can apply his vision to the defense and not just templates from our past.
