He was drafted to play the S/LB hybrid role in Wade Phillips defense.
Then we changed defenses and he's been in the wrong situation ever since.
His athleticism, and ability to stay healthy while our other safeties can't, is what's kept him on the field.
He's just not a good fit. He's limited, but plays pretty within those limitations. Just not sure his future is with the Rams.
He's a terrible fit and I can't think of a single reason why he should be back.
If they really think they need a S/LB they can bring back Travin Howard.
