Isn't that a good thing on both a personal and professional level?
It's a "good" thing on a "personal" level I am not so sure if it's the "right" thing and a "professional" level. Imagine if every (or even just a few more) player(s) decided they wanted to be with the "family" too once the team was eliminated. It doesn't set a good precedence. It looks even worse when you are the "Captain, MVP and GOAT" of the team. JMO
Either way, that doesn't change the fact that he should be there with the team. He is still being paid...VERY well BTW. IMO, he should be there. There will be plenty of "family time" after the season.
IMO, if "being with his family" is more important than being with his team and honoring is contract, then maybe he should've just retired.
Also, whose fault is it that he has kids from another marriage across the country? When AD signed his contract and agreed to come back this year, did he "forget" that he has kids back East that he wouldn't be able to see regularly until AFTER the season?
Does AD have a "clause" in his contract that says he can just "leave the team" if the Rams are "eliminated" form the playoffs?
Again, I LOVE me some AD. He IS the GOAT and is absolutely one of my favorite players of ALL time. He gives 100 percent every play and might be the main reason we have another ring but that doesn't mean he should get special treatment and not honor the agreement he made to come back and play this year.
I have to call it as I see it. Even the greatest players can be criticized. That applies to AD too IMO. It's cool if you don't agree brother. I always respect your opinions.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
