what are the choices...there aren't easy ones for sure
its clear the Rams absolutely believed in him... for sure. No question about that .... Snead talked about it and that KC win in LA sealed the deal for them
but like Teach says I would have waited... given it another year for sure
and if you don't like a franchise QB then you have to make plans to replace him... the Skins and Chiefs did it with Alex Smith for Cousins and Mahomes its just that Smith had the catastrophic leg injury. The 49ers selected Kaep over Smith. The Eagles drafted Wentz and traded Bradford
So teams have addressed these issues with varying levels of success
The bottom line is unlike the Vikings with Keenum, The 49ers and Chiefs with Smith, the Eagles with Bradford, the Chargers with Brees... the Rams clearly believed in Goff
