I can't remember where but I read a couple of articles about the Saints and how Brees' contract could become a big problem since they kept pushing money towards the end of the contract. One article even suggested that they could lose Brees and Bridgewater this off-season.
Being a Purdue grad, I have always been a Brees fan since he came from Texas and played for Joe Tiller at Purdue (the old basketball-on-grass offense). But I have to admit that his age is starting to catch-up to him (has been the last few years). You can see that he has started to have problems with certain throws. Plus the Saints were wrong to let Ingram go and this has affected Komara, Brees and the overall offense in my opinion.
I guess we will just have to stay tuned and see what happens.
