I can't reconcile that statement.
So if it's a flare up, you don't list it on the report.
Sounds sound the Bill Belichick school of injury reports.
You have to read people. All the distinctions you are demanding here were already laid out in detail in other posts. That means you're not challenging anything, you're just not following the discussion.
Injured here means violent impact leading to some kind of tear, deep bruise, rip, big sprain etc.. And THAT IS WHAT MJD SAYS HAPPENED.
That's not what happened. If you want the reasons why we know that did not happen repeated again, cool. But they are already laid out in multiple posts. Just read, and maybe you will have a better sense of the discussion.
What happened is that TG's surgical knee acted up. We don't really know the exact nature of that. Some have said his knee is arthritic, which would mean it can act up (pain and inflammation) and then subside. But there are other things a surgical knee could do that are like that so we honestly don't know the exact cause of the condition.
We DO know that in game one, he did not suffer a physical trauma or injury from impact that led to a tear, rip, etc or other structural damage. Yet that's what MJD (mistakenly) says is what happened.
