73? What you say there is not actually factually accurate.
Keenum had a fairly good completion percentage for long throws.
That's because, as I say in my other post in this thread, you don't NEED a strong arm to hit them long.
With passes of 31 yards or more, you're doing well if you hit 30%, you're doing very well if you hit 40%, and you are excelling beyond league norms if you hit 50%.
Will they keep throwing them long with Goff? Yes. They were already doing it a lot by league standards with Keenum.
My, "something that Case is not in regards to the deep ball." was referring to the "deadly accurate" and I don't think his stats qualify for deadly accurate.
My premise is derived from; between the 2 Jared has a stronger arm. I believe his deep ball accuracy is good also (I think I remember reading that about him). Because of the stronger arm Jared's deep ball shouldn't be underthrown as much as Case's are and with the velocity that Jared can throw his ball won't be in the air as long (so defenders will have a harder time knocking it out of the way). Those 2 things can go a long way to improving the deep ball completions....even if it is one or 2 more throws per game.
And with a better arm Jared maybe able to improve our long ball success so the defense have to value it more than what they do.
