Sandra was always vague about what her job was in the British army and for good reason. I'm pretty sure she worked for British Intelligence perhaps as a spy. Remember her on the train in episode 8 when the German soldier asked her for her papers? She was dressed like a scullery maid. She responded in French and he looked at her papers before throwing them in her face. A couple of scenes lateby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
I'm guessing he wouldn't have been happy about it. He was married with an infant son and from what I've read he was a devoted husband who was married to Jean for 37 years before she passed away. He married again 2 years later and that marriage lasted 38 years. Liberties were also taken in the depiction of some of the men and even some of the events in Band of Brothers as well. Harry Crosby's relationship was with a British soldier, Sandra Westgate. She wasn't mentioned in the credits because she was a total fabrication in the story. See article below. We watched the final episode last night. I could have sworn that Bucky said he couldn't wait to get home to his wife and son but I thought the notes on the real Bucky at the end said he met his wife after the war and that he married her two weeks after meeting her. I'm obviously confused somewhere.by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
He has 2 kids that live with him in L.A. and 2 other kids from a former relationship who live in Pittsburgh. This may give him the opportunity to spend more time with them which I think he really wants to do. He said he vows California as home now, but I'm thinking he may move back to Pittsburgh.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
He spent his entire spectacular as a Ram and we were lucky to have him. . This day has been looming since SB 56 so it should come as no surprise. It's just hard to say goodbye to the great ones. They give everything but we always want more. My guess is that he'll move back to Pennsylvania to be closer to his other two kids. I wish him well!by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
It could happen. Rams drafted Greg Zuerlein from po-dunk Southwest Missouri in 2012 the same weekend they fired kicker Josh Brown. I remember Billy Devsney saying the fans would really like this guy. I think some had their doubts about him cause nobody had heard of him. Zuerlein started for the Rams as a rookie, did well, and the rest is history.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
I was going through my wallet this morning and found 2 iHop gift cards and 1 Taco Bell gift card that I've received from Frank over the last couple of Christmases. I'd forgotten I had them. I checked the balances and 2 of the cards have never been used. Score!!!by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
The "Greatest Generation" refers to those who were old enough to fight during World War II, not those who were BORN during World War II. The term “Silent Generation” was first documented in a 1951 Time magazine article, which claimed that the most startling fact about this generation was its silence: “By comparison with the Flaming Youth of their fathers and mothers, today's youngerby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub

Frank goes out for lunch once a month with his amputee support group and I go out for lunch once a month with my bladder cancer support group. We hardly ever go out to eat together these days and when we do, which isn't often, ... it's usually someplace like Taco Bell, McDonald's, Subway, or Domino's. We've always enjoyed eating out, but we don't like how much it costs these days to do it. A cby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub

We watched it this morning. I didn't see the original with Richard Chamberlain and I've not read the book so for me it was totally "fresh". Listening to most of the characters speaking in Japanese and reading the translation on screen takes some getting used to but it's not so bad. The costumes, scenery, and acting are superb. Publishable? Not really. I just did it for my own personal use because I found the story, the men, and the actors who played them fascinating. I look at all the data I've collected and am pleased that now the info is at my fingertip. Makes it convenient for me. Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers are my favorite war movies/series. I absolutely love Band of Brothers and I try to watch it every year around Memorial Day. I have a pretty good Band of Brothers digital library that consists of all 10 episodes along with tons of bios, History Channel study guides and about 1,000 behind the scenes photos, reunion photos, photos from the series, videoby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
I've been over him since last fall when he was healthy enough to return to his alma mater to receive an award and yuk it up on the sidelines while we get the old respecting his privacy explanation. I posted then that I was ready to move on from Bennett and did so. I just saw a commercial on tv this morning that James Taylor will be here in St Louis on June 6. I saw him on a PBS television special a few years ago and his voice was just as good as ever. He's a really talented guitar player, too. But James is 75 now and usually, as singers age, the voice does too. I've never heard anybody sing well over the age of 60. This series lacks depth. There's lots of air action, but little else. There's little character development so they seem one-dimensional. Overall, I'm disappointed in the series. After the excellence in Band of Brothers and The Pacific, I expected better.by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
QuoteramBRO QuoteMamaRAMa To me his taking the job as co-defensive coordinator at USC was a "no-brainer" only IF he knew he wasn't going to get the Rams job as DC. I wouldn't necessarily say that.
