Tommy Aguilar.. my sister knew him well. He was also an actor... I forgot about that.. but I think most known for dancing on Broadway.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I remember college very well... and VERY strangely I remember grade school very well, better than High School. Today there is no one from my High School class that I see regularly. There are a few that I see maybe once or twice per year. Just had a visit from a classmate, he now lives in Georgia, that I went to school with from Kindergarten thru High School.. I wrote about it... he's curby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
in believing that the Ram's simply can NOT be as bad as they looked last week. I have a list of reasons why I think that was so... other's have some of the same reasons and some different than I do but whatever the reasons actually are that Ram's team we saw last week is NOT who this team will be this year. My main worry is "how soon" they can get their act together. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
cheat that is, and the way you define it. I think when you reach a certain age, and that's a lot younger than I am.... there are just too my songs/movies/books etc in mind to easily recall at a moments notice. But it almost never works because... And as you point out... you are going by 'somebody else's' list. Those lists seldom relate to your own choices. A similar situation... as youby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and of course you're right.... I never played lead guitar, or guitar at all. What I mean is... the melody. As you know I played trumpet thru college... I wanted to continue playing music my entire life, loved rock, and trumpets weren't not at all common in rock bands. :laughing I had bought a set of used Ludwigs while still in high school.. AND played them in my first band.... and I didn'tby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
in fact by the second I was sure I was seeing greatness develop. Take into account my bias... he's a local boy, VERY local. And yeah... I don't think there is any chance Lance gets demoted this early... no matter what Niners fans want. :laughing But I also don't think JG stays on the bench... probably not coming off the bench for the Niners, that is unless Lance truly does lay an egg... butby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
One of the most amazing surprises for me when it comes to musicians was not really caring for Glen Campbell pretty much AT ALL until one time I saw him play a guitar solo and he floored me! The man was a virtuoso on the guitar yet almost never put it on display. As for 'shredders'... pretty much all of them amaze me because I don't have a clue how they do that. :laughing But I have to aby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
very happy in fact. BUT as for 'next up' absolutely YES for someone like you named.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
that's certainly not my 'choice'.... it just fits the criteria I laid out for myself. As I was pondering this I realized it's not often an entire song in which the drums win me over but far more likely just a short passage, doesn't even have to be a solo. Like Steve Gadd in "50 Ways To Live your Lover" and "Check E's In Love" in which the passage I adore is just a very feby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
It was the physicality of Seattle that impressed me most, not Geno... but with Geno I am wondering if he's finally found the system that fits him. I, too, had never really thought him a quality NFL QB.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
at least not in the way you mean. I think Martz believes in not sparing the rod... thinking that QB's will improve only with a harsh tongue lashing. Who knows, he may be right more often than not. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I can be demonic. Players that I LOVE I can curse to hell even after a minor mistake.... only to have a 180 degree turnaround on the next play. :laughing Outside the 60 minutes of play, however, I'm nearly always rational and in truth I think I give players far more latitude than most. I have, however, finally given up on Tony Banks. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
if I can figure out how to phrase this. How much does 'emotional' come into play for you as far as actual 'skill'. Lemme' try to better explain: If I love a song I can do things that I can NOT do, even if it's exactly the same drum strokes, on a song I don't like. It drives me nuts, I HATE it, but it's fact. For example... if I love the song I can play very quickly with my left hand, (by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but I could NAME one, while reserving the right to 10 seconds later changing my mind. :laughing In fact, I'll do that very thing... with the caveat that this will not stand after some thought. BUT.. this does, very much, fit the description of what I said above.... perfect for the song, nuance out the whazoo.... it's also technically amazing AND... not fast at all. You have heard this guy eby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
The occasional "What on God's green earth was that?" but usually followed up with a pinpoint amazing toss. Not saying he doesn't have a lingering arm issue but I don't think it's reached the point where it's even close to being 'sit him for a while' UNLESS he's in agony or it's a lot worse than we know.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
that's how fast I'm seeing Niner fans spin after that first game. Before is was almost ALL IN for Lance... now? Major QB controversy. And you're right.. one game, horrible conditions... no where near enough to pass judgement... at least for a coach I mean... for us fans we're allowed to pass judgement at will. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean... finding a song you don't know... song OR drummer, would be easy... BUT.... it also needs to be something I think you'd appreciate. Thanks a lot for making this 1,000 times harder. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
as the only two people on earth he has yet to trash? :laughing That said - Lance did not look good at all to me. Fields didn't either.... but I think I'm seeing potential in him. To me he's a very good example of 'raw' for the Pro game but with the right coaching, (a big if), then maybe. Not seeing that in Lance.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
but I do agree he's in for a long season and Seattle most likely will not be vying for the division title... BUT.... There was something about that game that troubled me, and it troubled me a lot. As sloppy as both teams were, some of which you pointed out... one thing that IMHO that did a LOT better than the Rams was hit, being physical and tough. Both teams looked out of synch to me but neby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
BUT..... I can almost guarantee you that you'll be disappointed in my choice because it most likely will not be the fastest drumming. It's possible it could 'sound' quite simple, but isn't. For now... and it almost certainly won't be Steve Gadd BUT.... he is a good example of what I'd choose. Perfect beat for the song, nuance out the whazoo. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Friend just recommended I watch "Star Wars Rebels". I have never even heard of Star Wars Rebels. She says a new series is about to start called "Ashoka"... once again, never heard of it. She says Star Wars Rebels should be watched before Ashoka even though it's a very different story. Sooooo, I'm sure at least ONE of you knows something about Star Wars Rebels and justby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

and I'm well aware that it's one game AND that Denver pretty much gave that game away with all the penalties... never the less: Geno looked pretty damn good to me. Also... Seattle's overall effort was strong... they were hitting on D. I'd be very surprised if Seattle makes a run at the division title but at the same time I do NOT think they're going to just lay down and die.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

and I say that with a lot of hope for McCutcheon and would like to see him activated. The problem is: I don't think McVay and Stafford would use him even if they put him on the field. I don't think they go to the 'new guy'... not for a few games anyway. IOW... for all intents and purposes with McCutcheon on the field it means we're down 1 receiver. At yesterday's youth football game I saw one of the funniest things I've ever seen by an official. I saw the head ref call for a measurement when the ball was one inch shy of 2yds short of the first down. I thought to myself... that guy's headed for the NFL. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
my take-away from Th. and today's games is that every team is raw. Just did not seem like good football to me. Yes, some amazing plays to be sure... but more 'say what?' stuff. No chance the teams we saw this opening weekend will be the teams we see even by mid-season, much less the end of this coming season.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe the worst, that’s possible, but whew. Some bad football today. The whole leagueby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
