BUT..... I can almost guarantee you that you'll be disappointed in my choice because it most likely will not be the fastest drumming. It's possible it could 'sound' quite simple, but isn't.
For now... and it almost certainly won't be Steve Gadd BUT.... he is a good example of what I'd choose. Perfect beat for the song, nuance out the whazoo. - JamesJM
