No one understands how this all works in Calif. I can't give you a good answer.... only some some excuses - good? bad? You decide. Teams here don't play their seasons ONLY against their division opponents. All our losses came to teams in higher divisions. BUT.... we moved up a Division for the playoffs. SO - In our Division some teams had very weak schedules and some, like us, had verby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Our biggest rival... Kingsburg. Bigger than Rams vs Niners :laughing Lost to them earlier this year when our winning TD was called back on a holding call. Today? 33-9. Elijah, (youngest grandson), had 3 TD's. Now the semi-final to get to the championship game... against another team we lost too earlier this year 6-0. We had 2 losses this year. In fact all 3 Kerman teams won today..by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
He's a very meticulous guy with his stuff. For example his car is ALWAYS washed and waxed, even the day after a rain. So I know his musical gear has got to be as clean. He's in very poor health so I'm working with his wife... they are VERY private so I don't know much.. I think he has cancer. If all his gear is this type of quality... even the guitars... GEEZ... we're looking at severalby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
thanks for the tip. I went to that site and checked out the music man amp, same one.. the 112, and they are selling from $750 to $1,000. I was thinking maybe $300 tops! If he's got 6 of those, or similar.. he's going to be rolling in dough. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
You know I said I'd help my friend's wife sell his drum gear. Welllll, she apparently spread the word.... Now another friend's wife wants to see if I can find a buyer for her husbands GUITAR gear. She is texting me at this moment, sending me photos. Apparently he has 6 amps and 12 guitars. I KNOW NOTHING, (well, very little), about amps and guitars. :help Here's a photo of one ofby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
that didn't nose dive into a jumbled pile of scrap. I was NOT a good kite flyer. But I'm exaggerating - - I did succeed occasionally.... a handful of times, and when I did it was 'bliss'. I liked height.... so my goal every single time I ever flew a kite was to get it as high as possible... OR... and far more likely, far away even if not that high. Wish I could remember my record but Iby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Yul Brenner was being interviewed.... I think it was the Tonight Show with Carson... and Johnny asked him if he hadn't become an actor was there anything he would have 'rather' done in life. Yul had just returned from the Orient and said he met a man there whose official title was "Master Kite Flyer". :laughing Yul went on to say that he couldn't think of anything more noble or diby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
In PRO sports I don't do that... for the most part. IF there is a certain player I like from the team MY team is playing I will have some sympathy for him/her... but that's the breaks. With youth, and by that I mean pre-Pro, I often can feel great sympathy for the loser. Just had a similar experience as yours... was watching my niece play tennis - her opponents Dad was there. Looks like you were closer to the truth about Cam than I was. I don't know if the injury is the reason... or maybe, like you say, he just never really had it. I thought he did.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Here in the central valley we aren't familiar with the HS's on or near the coast that only recently came into our central valley leagues/divisions. So I really didn't have a thing to go on other than our opponents W/L record mostly against other coastal towns/cities. We move on... round two... and our next game will NOT be easy. My take away from the game last night: There is a platformby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
This is HARD.... could be Ashton's last game.... but nope, not pessimistic... I think we move on to next week. Going to be FREEZING cold... 54º at game time. I'm wearing flannel and a heavy duty coat. Even have gloves. Ashton is ready, hurting, but I know ASH and I think he fights thru it.... make that I KNOW he fights thru it. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
But I agree you had a great season and in the end that's what is most important. BTW... if you said I missed it... who is your team and who is the team you played? I know you're the Titans but which town or HS? - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

Kerman vs Santa Ynez... Here's our local sports reporters prediction: No 12 SANTA YNEZ PIRATES (5-5) at No 5 KERMAN LIONS (6-4) PAGMETER LINE LIONS -6 THE PAG FACTOR; The Pirates come in with a 3 game losing streak and the Pirates defense needs a big game on the road. Can the Pirates slow down Lions QB senior Ashton Chalabian? The Pirates offense is good and leading the way is senior QBby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
QuoteM Stafford but it’s kind of just how the game went I don't know what that means. either you're open or you're not... you pass up an open receiver because it's not in the 'plan'... that can NOT be it. He was never open? That's seems unlikely to me. I don't know what that means.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I had warned his wife that I really don't know much about selling used drums and drum gear.... the reason? - I've never done that. I've got every piece of drum gear I've ever purchased... now "where" it is is another question. Some here at home, some down in my old shop... in the granary, maybe my old office... any of several places. I don't know. I did donate some 'roto-toms' toby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
before the season began.. .not even, I don't think, in preseason games. I was still celebrating the SB. :laughing But HAD I considered this season beforehand... (this is fun because I can put myself in the best possible light making me look like a prophet).... I would not have foreseen this.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Mike and I grew up together... almost from birth. K thru HS, same class. His Dad was a farmer, so was mine. We both ventured out from home, exploring other things for a few years, then returned home to take over our respective farms. Thus we lived out our days. Mike and I fell in love with band in the 4th grade... he a drummer and me a trumpet player. Each of us also struck out on our ownby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
First... I'm not convinced he's 'lost it'... not enough play post-injury to be sure. I'm worried about it, for sure, but not ready to say he's toast. Regarding the personal issues... I have no idea... he's a jerk? McVay was the jerk? I don't know... but then I haven't read all the scuttlebutt regarding this problem so I could have easily missed something. Thus - I haven't even ruled outby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Pass routes I mean. Ram's don't work the center of the field enough in the passing game, IMHO. One indictor, among others, are the pick 6's which... this is simply from memory so correct me if I'm in error... are almost always on the out routes. D's know what's coming. Not sure how deep and short are defined in comparison to the mid-routes but it's the mid-routes I think woefully lacking...by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I think what's needed, both O and D, is present and has been on the field. I never saw this team as 'one guy away', (be it edge or RB help) which is why I wasn't that intrigued by the trade deadline... that was important, no doubt... but the turnaround, if it's to come, is dependent on the current players MORE than getting that 'one guy'... which I'm all FOR I should add. I'm of the opinionby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, actually I miss other races here and there... So I watched "The Move" by Chastain and being a NASCAR, and auto racing, "Expert" I have come to the Pub to enlighten all of you who are so confused. Here's the deal.... once he heads into a game his mind is set... and nothing on this earth will cause him to adapt even slightly. That works... a LOT... he's taken us to a very respectful, GREAT, tenure as our HC. But it's a serious flaw as well that occasionally gets exposed... ALWAYS against the Niners.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
The flaw's McVay's exhibits in Niner games is readily apparent in other games.... just no where near as pronounced. And no... that's not a "McVay is a terrible coach" comment... it's just noting his achilles heal.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
