First... I'm not convinced he's 'lost it'... not enough play post-injury to be sure. I'm worried about it, for sure, but not ready to say he's toast.
Regarding the personal issues... I have no idea... he's a jerk? McVay was the jerk? I don't know... but then I haven't read all the scuttlebutt regarding this problem so I could have easily missed something. Thus - I haven't even ruled out the possibility of whatever it was being a very trivial matter blown up out of proportion by combating egos.
