That nobody has rushed to judge this pick. I'm in awe at how many people are saying, 'well you know what, I have no clue about that guy, so it would be stupid to compare him to a player who occupied another position who a largely different FO drafted a few year ago' Good grief, some people need to get a grip.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Saying the player the really wanted was still there? Trading down that far suggests he didn't want him that badly.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
I was listening to Bill Polian yesterday talk about the gentlemen's agreements when it comes to trades. He said that when you trade up the team you're trading with will normally tell you who else is looking and what they are offering and who they were going to pick. Whomever was on with said, 'yeh but they could lie' And Polian said, 'not if they ever want to trade with that team again'.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
There must have been somebody else looking to move up, you just don't give that kind of collateral away unless you're sure your man won't be there.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
We are still running everything through the same attorney's as we were before opting out and I know from the correspondence that they're representing others. Anyway, it'll sort itself out, it just sucks the amount of time it's taking. Would an attorney ever dare to 'strongly advise' a client to opt out of a class action case that they could lose? And if they lost, would we be entitled tby RamUK - Bucky's Pub
Yes we opted out of the original settlement as we were advised to do so by our attorney. They gave us the option of taking the deal with no legal fees or fighting on in a battle they 'strongly' thought they could win. However, they did warn us that there may potentially be fees. Maybe they will be looking to charge if they lose? And yes, there is a second class action of hundreds of peoby RamUK - Bucky's Pub
Like tens of thousand of people I'm embroiled in the VW law suit over rigging emissions. I chose to opt out of the settlement and am part of a class action suit. This has been going on about a year and there is no real end in sight. At the moment we cannot sell Helen's car and we really want to. VW are deliberately dragging their heels (even with people who have settled) knowing that somby RamUK - Bucky's Pub
I'm all for protecting Goff and I haven't seen many people say the Oline isn't an issue anymore. Just not quite as big an issue as it was. Unless he just falls off a cliff or gets injured Whitoworth alone upgrades the entire Oline. Having said that, The Oline at the end of 2015 started to play reasonably well. Then they went backwards last year, so I get with the additions why people may suby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax It's nuts to believe adding a castoff actually fixed a problem a. Maybe a couple of people in here thought that, but I doubt the coaching staff did hence the speed they cut him and as it's been pointed out, it works on a regular basis. Did you think it was nuts to believe Easley was going to be a good addition? If not, why not?by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Seriously, the fact that he was stone cold sober means he was acting in character because no way was there the provocation to do what he did otherwise. I have done some dumb stuff drunk in my youth. Although I was never violent other than to a wall in my apartment once, I have acted like a tool. He seemed to want to go to lengths to say he was sober as though being drunk and hitting a womanby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Of why would the Pats get rid of somebody who was any good. But every team has some success like this from time to time and Easley did pretty well and the Pats let him go, so not sure why it's *nuts* to think they could have made a mistake.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Then he *probably* wasn't a psychopath. Psychopath's and sociopaths are just wired up differently and in extreme cases find it literally impossible to feel empathy at all. Of course there are grades of psychopath and it's widely believed that 20% + of super successful CEO's and a similar number of politicians are psychopaths, but most don't go on to kill. By the same token they struggleby RamUK - Bucky's Pub
It seems there wasn't much doubt about his guilt. But is also seems like he tried to do one final decent thing and look after his daughter. OTOH, he may not even have known that and it's one massive coincidence.by RamUK - Bucky's Pub

QuoteRFIP It was the right move to trade 6 draft picks for the #1 overall pick even if he's 2-3 years in being respectable? Sorry, no dice. If he takes 3 years and then is a top 10 for 10-years, then yes of course it was. The alternative would be 3 years further down the road and having to roll the dice again and wait another 2 or 3 years. Time will tell if they blew it. It's a comby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree entirely, I just don't think we know what we have with Goff at the moment. And the jury was right down the middle last year on who was the best QB and nobody was clamoring for Prescott. It's so easy for people to look at handful of games and then declare the organization 'insane' like RFIP has. What's insane is making claims in hindsight on such little evidence. You're just projecting based on the stories you have heard. I know it wasn't addiction, but when the Rams drafted Jenoris Jenkins he was a high risk/reward player. Other than the one time in SF, he's been a model citizen here and in NY. When was the last time you saw somebody bring him up as an example of why it's sometimes ok to draft such a guy? My guess is never. Stories like thby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Change happens in an instant, not over time It takes time to see, but it cannot change any other way. There is always a point when the change occurred. Will Gordon change? I have no idea, and neither does anybody here. Can he change? Of course he can, there are millions pf people who have beaten addictions way worse than his. The possibility of him changing is largely (but not entby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
A change of play, really? You don't think with hundreds of hours of tape, other coaches wouldn't have figured that out? I know people watching won't know for certain the original play called, but experts could hazard a guess. Also, surely somebody would have stabbed at something so basic and pointed to the 'O' speeding up whenever it was used.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
And these guys have nothing interesting to talk about. Soooo they make lists like this that fans love to debate If the NFL were in anyway predictable, other than after the fact, then this would be interesting. But it isn't, for the most part, it's highly unpredictable. However, it's fun to make dozens of predictions and then pick out the few that come true and announce to the worldby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
