I remember really wanting either a Marantz or a Teac back in my teenage years (early 80's). Were they worth a flip?by Ramsrule - Bucky's Pub
and the sub is a Velodyne. Love the Polks..... got a killer deal on them and they've held up pretty damn well. I've had the Velodyne forever..... and other than a blown 50 cent fuse it's been rattling the walls for over a decade. I cried when it died.... was so relieved when I took it apart to find the fuse blown. I must have driven 95 MPH to radio shack to get a replacement.... LOL! Iby Ramsrule - Bucky's Pub

I've just always seemed to have issues with the center channel needing level adjustments on my AVR's. It's never where I want it to be. Now the Audesy setup that the Denon runs with the calibrating mic gets it much closer, but I'm still having to go in and do a manual boost of 2db - 3dB on it. But for some strange reason, they seemed to have gotten the levels correctly calibrated from the faby Ramsrule - Bucky's Pub
I'd recommend getting something with some of the newer creature comforts like Bluetooth and make sure it's 4k compatible. Mine has never given me any technical trouble, but if you're not tech savvy, this type of unit is definitely not for you. Very complicated menu systems, but again, once you get it rolling, dont ever touch it and it sounds great. I'm not driving any large speakers withby Ramsrule - Bucky's Pub
are notorious for overheating at high volumes - I've never owned one that was stable. I'll stick with my Denon's.... while complicated in nature and not millennial-friendly, if you can get through the setup (including the Audesy mic system calibration) and tweaks, then leave it alone and enjoy it - both you and the rest of the neighborhood. Yes, Ram23 asked us to remove his trademarked name from the system. We obliged, and have no hard feelings towards him and hope his future endeavors with it are even more successful than they were here.by Ramsrule - RamsFootballFans.com
No need to be intimidated..... post what's on your mind and let the chips fall where they may. Looking forward to reading your take on the Rams and their upcoming playoff run...... (someone pinch me here, did I just say that? WOOHOO!)by Ramsrule - RamsFootballFans.com

A big thanks to Vickie for her quick testing! She has confirmed the fix works by making the following change to your IOS settings - Try turning OFF "Smart Punctuation" (introduced in iOS 11) in Settings > General > Keyboardby Ramsrule - Help and Support Forum

and came across where there was discussion about text message truncation, when if you had the setting enabled and added an apostrophe to your text message, it would shorten it from 160 characters max to 70. Apparently Apple did something to the apostrophe so when the setting is turned on, they've tagged additional logic to the character, making it non-standard. Why they would do something like that in their OS is beyond comprehensionby Ramsrule - Announcements

from what I've read, they've changed something with the apostrophe (I mean, why in the heck would they do that?) and this newly added functionality can be disabled in the iPhone settings - Try turning off "Smart Punctuation" (introduced in iOS 11) in Settings > General > Keyboard and see if that changes anything. Can you guys test this for me and let me know if it makes a diby Ramsrule - Announcements
And when we as Rams fans get the opportunity to enjoy the success of our beloved team, I too often reflect on those who are not here to do the same. Life can be cruel at times it seems. But then I also think about the people that have beaten the odds, and are here to bask in the glory with us that maybe shouldnt be for whatever reason.
