And when we as Rams fans get the opportunity to enjoy the success of our beloved team, I too often reflect on those who are not here to do the same. Life can be cruel at times it seems.
But then I also think about the people that have beaten the odds, and are here to bask in the glory with us that maybe shouldnt be for whatever reason. The true warriors..... the miracles..... the blessed..... whatever you want to call them.
I was one of those once. So every time we get to enjoy the feelings we get when our team FINALLY gets it right, I too grin as you do, knowing that these moments are precious to me, and deserved to be cherished.
And when people pat you on the back or fist bump you telling you "Congratulations..... you've stuck with your team like nobody else I know and I respect that.", I thank them as I think to myself "you dont even know how many of us die hards exist out there......"
No, it's not a bad thing. I thank God every day that he made me a Rams fan. It's taught me a lot of things over the years and has allowed me to meet a great group of people. The Rams were/are a godsend to this fan.
