There is no cause to tell someone to "settle down". If you'll reread I just politely asked "Please include links to the information." Its a standard we are trying to hold all posts/posters to. I think its unlikely for a few reasons. At 5'11 3/8" and 200+ lbs, he is built like a safety as opposed to a slot corner in particular. More importantly, that would mean both Long and Williams are on the bench (as well as Deayon and others if they keep them). Barring injury, I just don't see that happening other than specific running down situations or garbage time. That's too much coverby db - RamsFootballFans.com

I agree on Long. They are grooming him to be outside next year. No way they will pay both Hill and Ramsey. Hill has turned out to be decent, but Long certainly has the talent to be at least as good.by db - RamsFootballFans.com

No way. He was a guy that they wanted to be good and physically looked the part, but just wasn't. He could not stay engaged on blocks, and consistently graded out as their worst starter. Allen will start the season on IR. But he will be replaced by another lineman, probably Kolone or Shelton as a backup center for the first few weeks. Corbett has spent little time at Center at practice. Cabral will be stashed on the practice squad. No, I don't think that's likely. Matthews had MLB experience with the Packers which is why they did that occasionally. Floyd rarely if ever did that with the Bears. Yes, he may drop into coverage on the outside depending on the rush or blitz call, but in Nickel they will go with a better coverage backer in the middle, likely Young or Howard if they decide to take out Kiser in passing situationby db - RamsFootballFans.com

Huh? Ebukam and Floyd are not inside backers, never will be. Our inside backers for this year are certainly on the team and have been discussed at length - Kiser, etc. You don't like Ebukam, ok. I think he's underrated. He came from a small school, changed positions, and has a ton of athletic ability and has a lot of game snaps under his belt. He will start opposite Floyd. This is not new and has been obviously discussed already, but the point here is that even if its not about the money (of course it is a little, even if you get "creative" it will likely eat up all remaining space), its about the roster spot. If you sign him, its a short term addition (1 year deal, or a 2 year spread that is really a 1 year deal), so which of your young linemen are youby db - RamsFootballFans.com

Yes, thank you for talking football again instead of fashion, geez. However, I'll disagree with you on a couple of points. I'll all but guarantee you that Ebukam will start over Obo. They like E and he holds his ground and sets the edge better than all those other guys. He will start, Obo will rotate on clear passing situations. Also, Reeder will make the roster. So many people have missed this in all their whining about the offensive line, which was primarily driven by a couple of injuries. Brewer is the real deal and is going to be a very good player. He was one of their top 2 or 3 rated linemen from preseason games last year.by db - RamsFootballFans.com
