I think where he was drafted is irrelevant. He won the starting job in training camp, it was an open competition, and he outperformed Young, Reeder, etc. He was also our special teams tackles leader last year. The kid can play. Sure, if this is our biggest injury loss this year, we will indeed count ourselves lucky. But don't kid yourself, its a loss, he was a willing tackler with speed and coverage ability. I'd feel better if A'Shawn Robinson was healthy and in the rotation eating up blockers and keeping our IB's clean.
