Fisher is too much of a players coach at times. He needs to just consider the football play. Was it right or wrong. Fisher will never admit it....but he wanted so badly for Tavon to get credit for that great catch....he throws the flag. He has Tavon's back. He's the players coach......and he made an agregious error.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
You can't always count on the turnover to bail you out. Turnovers will eventually dry up.....so it's the yards allowed that needs hold up. However, it's fair to say the Rams lack of offense has alot to do with this. The Rams have yet to win the Time of Posession total in any game (Seattle was essentially even). If the Ram offense can figure out how to get a few more key first downs.....thenby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
But what if they couldn't challenge an OBVIOUS bad call during one of the last two Cardinal possessions because of Fisher's irrational decision making.....and it cost them the game? Not so funny any more.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
He has a fragile competitive confidence. All the moons, stars, weather, etc....needs to be in alignment for him to succeed. If one of these things is off.....his game breaks down. So when the going is good.....he plays great. However.....if a few things go wrong......he whithers. Perhaps he is feeding of the fact that this entire team seems to have "good" things happening to them tby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
I understand a loss is a loss....but one of the two losses you talk about was also a game where the Ravens kicked a FG with time expiring. I think the Rams were up by 10 in the fourth quarter of that game. Keenum had some fault though in this game as he fumbled late in the game to allow the Ravens to get the ball back for the winning drive. However....the point being....with Keenum at QB......by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams went heavy on O-lineman in recent drafts.....instead of taking badly needed weapons at WR and TE. It was a sacrifice Snisher was willing to make.....in order to have a smashmouth offense that will exert it's will on the opponent. Yes....the lack of top speed at wide out (not Tavon....slot doesn't count) is allowing opponents to stack the box on every play. But, every team at the endby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
He played that back shoulder grab in the corner of the endzone perfectly....muscled his way to a TD. He also torched Peterson for what should have been a big gainer.....but Keenum underthrew it badly and Peterson made a great recovery. If that ball was thrown to the correct spot....Quick would not have outrun Peterson....but he might have carried him on his back for about 20 more yards.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
I had the Rams 6-10. Which means they go 3-9 the rest of the way. Would love to be very wrong.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
I think they gave up 45 points in week one (didn't lose by too much). Then their defense was shredded in week two. The rest is history....went on to win the SB.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
The GIants are one of the top well-known franchises in the NFL. This game would have been better scheduled against Bufallo, Miami, or Atlanta. This will likely be more of a home crowd for the Giants. Only teams that would have been worse than the Giants are Patriots or Cowboys.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Great point on Rams winning games that they used to ALWAYS lose. You have to think there will soon be a well-executed game from beginning to end coming up in the next few weeks. The key will be getting Gurley going. However....the key to that might be getting more solid play from the O-line. They need to get to a point where they can confidently get one first down to run out the clock. Theyby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Win this game.....they are two games ahead of the Cards...with the cards having already played 3 of their 4 games at home....and the Rams having played 3 of their 4 on the road. I think the Cards are going to take out their Buffalo frustrations on the Rams.....but if the Rams figure out some way to win......a HUGE swing.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Both Seahawks and Rams will be 1-1 in the division, and Rams have the head-to-head advantage.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
McDonald will level the Tampa RB...ball will come loose and Trujo will scoop and run the distance!!! Who needs offense?by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
2003. That was the last year this franchise had a winning record in the regular season. Through this time we have seen a number of franchises reach their peak....fall to the bottom....then turn things around and get back to the top. Several others were already at their peak in 2003.....or made it for the first time since then...and continue to remain there today. Many of them accomplished tby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Just go win games and stop worrying about the politics. But then again......doing stuff like this has successfully kep Fisher in this job for four+ years while EVERY year we are left scratching our head on why this team can't get out of it's own way.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
At some point we need to accept this team is a hot mess. Fisher is a nice guy....but he lost the team a long time ago. He doesn't instill the team with the confidence of a champion, nor does he enforce enough accountability on the players. He does it every now and again....but honestly.....the members of this team are just coasting and cashing a paycheck. It's Fisher's job to change that. Heby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Can't remember who used it.....but I fear someone will someday refer to Fisher BECLOWNING himself.by chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com
Show hosts and callers having a bunch of laughs on how the Rams continue to set new lows. They can't see how the #1 pick in the draft could not beat out the Case Keenum they all watched Monday night. One of the more reasonable show hosts (who knows a good deal on football) is just shocked at how badly coached the Rams are today. Says Fisher lost the team a long time ago......but the owner reby chunkmeister - RamsFootballFans.com

I have important meetings early tomorrow......I'm not ruining my day tomorrow by watching this crap. I will save you alll the agony and tell you what we can expect tomorrow.....so you too can go to bed. Niners will be up by about 17 half way through the 3rd quarter. They will go into preven mode....the Rams will creep back within 7....and Fisher will bloviate all week about how proud he is ofby chunkmeister - Game Time Forum
But put it into perspective. I didn't see the game (just highlights). But...It was at home against the Browns. According to other posters....he threw two INT's which were dropped. Stat line also shows he fumbled twice (but Eagles recovered both). If he were a Ram.....both INT's don't get dropped....and the opposing D reccovers both fumbles. Just the way it is. Joking aside.
