QuoteNewMexicoRam It's hard enough to win on the road the way it is, but to only score 3? Seriously. Obviously 3 in the 1st half is weak. But the game doesn't end at halftime, right? Bottom line is that the O scored 32 pts against a strong D, didn't commit any TOs to give the other side a super-short field, controlled the clock and logged almost 500 yds. That *really* ought to be enough. Iby Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
Obviously, Wilson is an elite QB and he certainly has plenty of much longer scoring passes on his resume. But some QB's, like him, consistently get to pad those TD passing numbers and others, like our own JG, simply don't. A better QB rating system would better account for the difference between the QBs who get to pass it in vs those who hand it off. Peyton called his own number ALL the time fby Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotespagsbacker he flies through the line of scrimmage. Gurley wouldn''t have sniffed 100 today under the same circumstances. So nice to have RBs who can take advantage of whatever space the OL creates.by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsDynasty Started the first half carnage, I have no faith in him for fgs or kickoffs so he is good for nothing. ...is that, as far as we could see as fans, both his competitors were solid, both in re training camp performance and actual game performance in pro leagues. It's not like the Rams had three bad options. Presumably they thought they picked the best guy, but.... Should beby Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills I can't even remember them playing this well ... ever ...since Wilson has been there it looks like they now have at least a decent one that being said their defense looks bad... the Rams might put 50 on them ... I see that Elliott has 14 yds on 9 carries. That's pretty good run defense!by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRamgator I have a feeling today was a good thing. The Rams have every reason to think, 1) they have some real flaws, especially on defense, AND, 2) they can play with anyone, certainly anyone this side of KC and Baltimore. Will the players and coaches take today's performance as a kick in the A$$? I think so. Will that defense be better, appreciably better, as a result? We'll see. Buby Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not going to run thru everything, but the Rams: - Passed for more yds than the Bills - Ran for more yds w/a higher YPC than the Bills - Never punted (Bills punted twice) - Had fewer turnovers (2-to-1) - Had more sacks - Didn't give up a special team score - Held the ball 5 min longer ... and lost.by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsDynasty True but didn't see 3rd and forevers completed against this D this year until today and I still don't consider Allen>> Wentz and Dak so the S is the only difference I'm not comparing their careers, their prospects, any of that. But the Allen the Rams played today was SOOOOOOOO superior to the Wentz they played, it's not funny.by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_78 nm Ain't like they were fumbling and throwing ints all over the place. I don't remembering seeing a pro game in which a team never punted, much less once in which they never punted and still lost.by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
.. the D just needs to prevent a TD to secure the win. And you think the offense is to blame?by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotestlramz To the belief that we can't be stopped. Rams sleep-walked thru the first half and came from WAAAAY back. The Ravens and KC are scary. There's no one else I think the Rams are looking up at. And I bet they know it. They *really* need to rethink that kicker, tho.by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteShaky So bring on next week I'm ready This D needs to be/do better, no doubt - but to take a lead against a "very good" Buffalo team after being 25 down? You kidding me? Ans, yeah, I love me some Jared Goff.by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteSpeed_Kills this is a weird game the Rams haven't punted The Rams are clearly moving the ball. I'm not worried about the offense - though the OL's ability to protect Goff on 3rd-and-long is a persistent concern. The defense, OTOH.... AND the Rams are too often being beaten physically in this game. Maybe it's the back-to-back East Coast trips... whatever. But I don't think the discby Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum
... that's all it looks like to me. This doesn't feel like the Ravens game last year. The defense definitely needs to get it together. Defense has looked confused too often. But I think the Rams out a hurting on the Giants next week.by Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum

Quotedroopy You made many great points in the original post — mentioning acquiring Corbett (who's been playing great after 2 games) being a steal, extending Blythe (who's been playing great after 2 games) looks like a great move, extending Whit (who's been playing great after 2 games) looks like a great move, Van Jeff (who's been playing great after 2 games) looking like a steal in the 2nd round,by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills means it’s important lol i’m feeling the same way ... is that the games played late in the regular season are still meaningful. In 2017 and 2018 the last couple games were about jockeying for playoffs seeding. Last year they had a chance to sneak into the playoffs. 9-7 was disappointing and it was disappointing to fall short of the playoffs, but INFINITELY better than the prby Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm a fan of their personnel moves - AND you're putting the best possible spin on many of them. QuoteRams43 Let’s see... Don’t really know where to start. Rams made the tough choices on Gurley, Cooks, Fowler, and Littleton. Those decisions look pretty sound at this point. To me, the only really tough choice here was Fowler. Quotestlramz Those guys have no leverage. I'm all for signing studs early (how cheap is Higs right now) but you don't need to do it if the player is only going to be an RFA next year. .. they need to keep churning the "solid contributor" portion of the roster with draft picks. 4 NFL years older, less than 2 chronological years older. And, maaaan, texting him after he was drafted? That's golden. The veteran leadership on this team is absolutely extraordinary - Whit, Ramsey, Woods, Coop, Brown, Goff... Quotemerlin If it's true. But we could already see it if we pay attention. Brown should have started the first game. It is unlikely Akers had a full grasp of the system, he probably was reasonably far along but Brown knows this offense well. But they wanted to get Akers rolling. Why is that? Big play ability. Akers can flip the field for you. IMO McVay really values that. To the poinby Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemerlin Quotedzrams Quotemerlin McVay wants homerun speed in his backfield. Also Hendy last season struggled with the playbook and still has a ways to go in growing into this scheme.
