Probably the best part about having a good Rams team to root for...

means it’s important lol

i’m feeling the same way

... is that the games played late in the regular season are still meaningful. In 2017 and 2018 the last couple games were about jockeying for playoffs seeding. Last year they had a chance to sneak into the playoffs. 9-7 was disappointing and it was disappointing to fall short of the playoffs, but INFINITELY better than the pre-McVay years.

In the Linehan-Haslett-Spags years by mid-season the playoffs were a pipe dream. Playoff hopes generally lingered a bit longer in the Fisher years but by week 12 or 13 or so ... phhtt!

Super Bowl? Would love another appearance, of course, especially if it culminated in a win. But just being able to watch a full season of meaningful games again is HUGE for this fan.
