Quotemexram You round off your routes too much, that's pop Warner level... He never looks like he's running hard. Always looks nonchalant out there. That impression may be be in part because he's a "long strider." But he's just not sharp.by Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum
And I have to say, even before this last Cowboys score it felt to be more like Prescott, especially, was missing opportunities and less like the Rams' defense was playing great. Pressure on Rams' O to keep scoring, preferably TD's.by Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum

QuoteLos Angeles Lenny It He's missed a couple, most notably to Gurley at the goalline. But he could have two TD passes and has had at least another dropped. Certainly, his QB rating would be much better w/those TD passes.by Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum
QuoteSaguaro The Rams just became a harder team to defend with this run rotation they've discovered! I mean, I knew nothing about him beyond his name, and I'm sure the coaches who let him go aren't idiots. But, looking at him 2.5 games in, it's absolutely incredible that we were able to pick him up.by Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum
QuoteABQRam QuoteSuh-weet! Gurley has the slightly better numbers because of that long scoring run. No diss on Todd, but the truth is that hole was HUGE and his speed served him well there. CJ is the stronger runner IMO. I agree...up to the point of that long run CJ had 4 runs for over 10 yards and Gurley had none. I agree, no diss on Todd, but CJ runs really, really well in our system. Todd's most impressive run, IMO, was the one on the final drive where he bounced off a tackle and was able to get out of bounds. That was the kind of great-balance play we don't see him make that often. CJ gets low, keeps his balance, and drives forward a lot. Telling you right now: if CJ is back next year I think we see a lot more of this dual back use even when Todd is back at his best.by Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum

QuoteRamsFanSince69 Way to go CJ!! I've said it before, say it agin. Gurley's the better receiver (probably); might be better at protection. Certainly has better straight-line, top-end speed. But as a pure runner? CJ.by Suh-weet! - Game Time Forum
QuoteRamUK Helen sent me out for alcohol to drink at the tailgate. I came back with champagne and Bailey's. She made me go straight back out and get beer. At least I saw Rams fans and we had the chance to hug awkwardly in the liquor store. So there is that.by Suh-weet! - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteCarolinaRam Play action as much as possible! That's where we have success. Make them guess on every play. That's the point. Or, rather, minimally they should be guessing on every play. That means I'd be fine seeing a run on 3rd-and-2, even 3rd-and-3, especially if Rams are having any protection issues. Quoteoldschoolramfan Watching these highlights.........Then, watching the Rams last 2 games.........Why was CJ not playing in the NFL? Quotedzrams Quotewaterfield That's an admission Gurley is not well. If so that eliminates a huge protective weapon for Goff who will have to be 200%. Can he? Why isn't it an admission that CJ is very good and has performed admirably in our offense? I daresay what he did the last 2 weeks equaled and possibly surpassed what we've seen from Gurley. QuoteSaguaro but the reaction to this game is just an example to me of how fans (and even a lot of commentators) respond to game outcomes. Quoteferragamo79 they do it all the time during the season but just with empty backfield vs CJ back there not saying moving him to WR Just for a few plays. But why make him a WR even for a few plays? Quoteferragamo79 3. CJ Anderson really provided a boost since he signed. It will be interesting to see how many carries he gets in the playoffs.
