We need to get Austin in on the punt returns when we punt. Simply must get the ball in his hands more. C'mon Fisher!by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
and any of the games the Rams played (except the first one, barf) could have gone either way. It seems to me that the Rams are usually going to win or lose ugly for the rest of the year and the parity will allow them to do so. They have a real chance in most games if they win, or at least tie, in the turnover battle... Here's to 4-2... that will make me very happy. Edit: Something aboutby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
because some throws he just can't make at an NFL level. Not sure what he was thinking there. Its been said before that he plays like he thinks he's Brett Favre. I still like him and although I was desperate for the Rams to trade him for anything, I'm OK with him this season... If I thought Goff was anywhere near ready then I would switch to him ASAP... but I don't see how he could be.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSunTzu_vs_Camus Rams couldn't stop McCoy from getting a 150yds.... yet, Vinny wanted the Rams to punt the ball and stop the Bills with a 3&Out to get the ball back. THAT would seem the harder strategy for Fisher to defend had he done that....especially without 3/4s of his starting DL. imo I'm fine with the fake call. It's won us games in the past and ya can't win them all. btw -by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
but it has to take the other team by surprise somewhat and should be in a situation where it is not expected. But, like Fisher said, "its who we are" or whatever, everyone expects it. I mean it worked before because everybody and their mother didn't know it was coming. I understand that Fisher has a history of it but the fact remains that prior to, the other teams weren't expecting it.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I've watched it about 10 times from 2 different angles... There is no way anyone is going to make that. All 5 defenders were looking right at it. Just zero deception. The outside guy sees it the entire way. If anything he should have kept running outside and hope to beat the outside guy somehow... Just a horrible decision... one of several. It also appears that the Rams got away with a faskmask tby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
because perhaps there was someone deep that we just couldn't see or something... nope. But from the back view it does appear that he was tightrope walking the line and couldn't do it any longer... IF I could find an excuse for it, that's what it would be.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I know its not but I sure get squeamish every time its 3rd and long... When its 3rd and 19 for the Rams, I just hope the screen pass gets 10 yards or so and then I expect a nice punt.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It was stupid either way. Forgivable if they make it but stupid...by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Feels good to know that I don't have to lose sleep over this anymore. And I no longer feel the need to capture one. Now we can need a cam set up to catch Nessie. What would have been awesome is if he climbed the tree and ate the birds all caught on camera!by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
but I do think they went out of their way to reduce the opportunity to win. I almost didn't FF the game on the fake punt 4th down to see if Fisher would do a fake. And I simply said, no he wouldn't be that stupid. It wouldn't fool anyone, its absolutely expected and the defense was playing well enough to get the ball back and the offense was playing well enough to give them a shot. Perhaps having all off-season to look at the film and then Boras does the same exact thing they are expecting? I mean they game planned with an idea of what the Rams would do. So although a player saying they knew the plays and some fans could have predicted where the ball was going with some degree of accuracy, I guess it doesn't necessarily make it true. I see the wrinkle in the difference I guby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It was Boras who needed the wake up call... ??? I mean when you go I. With a gameplan like that and the defense knows exactly what you are doing no offense is going to succeed. The defense was more of an anomaly. Kelly had an off season to prep and it may have been a little difficult to gameplan on defense. Plus with almost no 3rd down conversions the defense was always on the field and and iby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I find to hard to believe that Goff is anywhere near ready... And he got banged up at least twice in preseason... I'd rather he hit the weights and really learn the playbook and maybe get in a few quarters here and there. I don't really think that the Rams get very far with Keenum but that is mostly because of Boras. That said, Boras is still learning the job and Keenum is slowly improving. A mobile QB with TA and TG. Seems like that combo should cause some stress on a defense when it comes to misdirection. Lately I've been wondering if the zone scheme Boras switched to just took teams by surprise for 3 or 4 games and now they just have plenty of tape on it. I also wonder if the OL is thinking too much... But I think the main reason the OL is having issues is there are simply toby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't imagine many elite RBs struggling to that extent with any consistency. I do think as the OL improves that we will see a major increase I production. He is so close to breaking a long run. I'm not sure if it's the scheme or the immaturity of the OL.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I knew the general plot going in because I saw the original movie on TV when I was maybe 10... But I haven't seen anything on it since then. As far as whether I liked it or not... Well the acting for the most part was pretty good... and the writing, although very good, stumbled at times IMO. games that are over in the second quarter.... then I can just enjoy the game. For me, ugly wins are sometimes like riding a rollercoaster without being fastened in or anything to hold onto. I'd rather be on a nice safe boat ride with the sun and salt air and a drink in my hand just enjoying the ride.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Honestly, I can't believe any of that. Well, I have to choose not to because the alternative would just be too sad. My guess is there was some other reason for them. Although I agree that both were kind of close, I feel certain that no one would challenge them based on what was evident on the field. I thought the one challenge might have been to give them time to discuss a fake punt... andby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Sometimes I wonder how he would do in a different offense. And the chemistry thing was a problem for Foles too... I mean the 'Austin is running wide open and the throw is nowhere near him' stuff. So I'm starting to wonder if Austin is just terrible at running routes and the QB's are throwing good passes... Would help answer that question if there was a good QB throwing the ball. He went in because of injury to Siemian (sp?) and I think he played pretty well. He reminds me of Joe Flacco a little. Loves to throw deep and fearlessly so, lol. Seemed to put the defense on its heels a little. Even the running game got going.I thought he looked poised for the most part. Pretty good for coming off the bench. I remember him saying that he was always looking for the big play instead of taking the sure gain. But that's not what is happening here. But something is happening. least points scored in the league. I'm still baffled by the lack of anything offensively against the niners... I'm starting to think they lost on purpose... its the only thing that makes sense. Still shocked at how they use TA... So before the niners game, yes I would have been surprised by some of the offensive woes... after the niners game I am still stunned by Boras and company. but he missed several throws today. And I don't want to rain on the cheerio's but a better QB and this probably isn't as close of a game. He appeared to tap both toes clearly in bounds... do you have to do more than that? Was he juggling the ball or was the first tap before he secured the ball? I mean sure his heel hit out of bounds afterwards... is that what matters... and if so what is the rule there? Because I have seen receivers catch a ball tap both toes in bounds and then both feet (and entire body) are out of bounds, howby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

Harold Jackson was drafted in the 12th round.... and the only one I remember seeing play... and being a fan of... The first player the Rams picked was in the 2nd round QB Gary Beban... who????
