That's a good one. Great ability but lacking heart or something. Still mad over that play. Finnegan is a chump. Few people I dislike more than Haslett but not sure he counts. Turley. I'm sure there are others that I've fortunately am choosing not to remember.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
but there were times in the past couple of years that were really disappointing and made me question whether he would truly take the next step. Which of course he didn't. Shame because he looked so promising. But over the past few years on certain 3rd down ( and at least one 4th down) he seemed to just throw the ball knowing it had little chance of being completed. “Unlike Michael Silver, I strive to be fair and balanced and do not have an agenda when doing my job,” Aikman told Jimmy Traina of SI.com. “The record will show that I have been a strong supporter of Jared Goff’s over the years. Unfortunately for the Los Angeles Rams and Jared Goff, he did not perform at his best in the games that I broadcasted this season and I’m confident Jared would be the firby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

Good discussion. I do feel that Goff was off his game over the past two seasons. He had moments and the offense had moments. That said they didn't look great under Wolford either but then Wolford is a back up. I did think the team seemed to be more energized with Wolford. Whether that was the team rallying around Wolford or something else... maybe feeling they had to step it up. I don't know.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
and that seems to be par for the course for the Rams at the moment. I think it comes down to this: Rams feel they have a window and are all in on the bet that they can get back to the Super Bowl. Lord knows Goff was a good QB and its been a long, long time since the Rams had a good QB. So I am wary of losing the bird in the hand. Stafford is more than the two birds in the bush. They gave up really high #1's and #2's... and then probably another, albeit lower #1, to trade him. ARTICLE No team in recent memory has valued first-round picks less than the Los Angeles Rams. They’ve made a number of huge trades involving first-rounders since Les Snead took over as general manager, all of which have come in the last five years. I agree but in all likelihood they are looking at 2 late 1’s and a 3rd and give up a top 10 QB with probably 5 more good years. Plus they take on an enormous contract of a QB that struggled in a QB friendly offense. But they got a good QB who has been shown to excel when things are ideal... But if they are rebuilding then that’s probably not the best situation. OK trade for the Lions consideringby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
But I agree. I’m not sure why things have to be black or white for some people when there’s almost always a gray area. Anyway, at the moment this was a good trade. That’s all you can ask for. No one knows what’s going to happen but when it does there will be a lot of blaming and should’ve known’s and usual fan bs. What if Morris is the bad hire? Or injuries take a huge toll. If true, then why would the Rams look for a deep threat anywhere else? I thought it was common knowledge that Jefferson was more of a possession receiver than a guy who could stretch the field. Maybe that’s not him after all... and if so, great news! Lolby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
“Ultimately, they wanted to go in a different direction,” Goff, part of a blockbuster quarterback swap that sent Matthew Stafford to the Rams, said Tuesday. “As the quarterback, as the guy that’s at arguably the most important position on the field, if you’re in a place that you’re not wanted and they want to move on from you, the feeling’s mutual. “You don’t want to be in the wrong place. I think McVay has earned a few stumbles. Plus you never know what a season will bring... injuries etc. I think he will be given a long rope. Good coaches are hard to find... like good QB’s.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

My doctor said extreme cardio might help a little but not much. I've been eating salmon 2x a week and tuna 1x a week for about a year. I do very little sugar and only whole wheat. One soda a week... my weakness. Basically a pescatarian. Lots of walnuts and olive oil. If good cholesterol can be raised by diet, I will eat whatever it takes. lol... I'm not quite up to any intense cardio yet. I do waby Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
My feeling on this is that Marvin Jones could start declining at any moment or he could play at a relatively high level for another 2 or 3 years. I definitely wouldn't trade for him but I would pick him up as a FA IF he can still be a deep threat and he doesn't cost too much. I'm not sure what to do with Kupp. I just feel like he's not going to hold up. But he is outstanding at times and alwayby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
But it's possible that Stafford plays for another 6 or 7 years at a high level. The Rams might have a 1st round draft pick by that time... Who are we kidding, lol I don't expect the Rams to pick 1st again until Snead is gone. Didn't the Redskins follow that strategy in the 70's? I am OK with win now the way the Rams are doing it.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
That is a swelling of the lining of the heart. Sent me to the ER lol. I had no idea what was going on but after a few heart attacks I figured it was just another one. Still have remnants of it. And if they continue to draft a starter or two every draft they should be fine. IMO those late 1st round picks aren’t a lot different than late 2nd round picks except you get a year longer on the rookie contract... which the Rams don’t seem to use anyway, lol. This could be a really good team. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this stoked about an upcoming season... and we’re in February. I’m like a kid in July waiting for Christmas.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
He reminds me of Robert Woods. Just a work hard pro. I think he would be a great addition. Unless Jefferson can be the deep threat... which I don’t think that’s his best role.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It’s not something that will suddenly dawn on them. Trade Havenstein. Stafford loved the big TE in Detroit.., Higby is a better version of that guy. I’m sure the Rams will find room. And the cap will most likely increase dramatically next season.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Well if the Rams have Stafford then I score at will and double their receivers and let them try to keep up with their run game. Good luck KC. Pfft. :ROTFby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
But then Stafford didn't want to play there... But 2 future, probable late 1st round picks and a 3rd to take Goff's contract and give up Stafford? Thank you Detroit! Just don't come to your senses and bail out.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Snead was also saying a lot of positive stuff about Goff too. It was handled poorly IMO but Snead has some kind of disconnect. He doesn’t speak well in public and tries to be cute and it’s just not a good mix. I don’t think he’s a bad person and not that you are saying he is... he just lacks something I can’t put my finger on. For me, he is hard to watch in interviews and press conferences.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
He more I watch Stafford from the 2020 season, I think top 5 isn’t a stretch. If he was also a running QB.., omg. At any rate it appears to me that he is definitely one of the top ten QB’s right now.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
