My doctor said extreme cardio might help a little but not much. I've been eating salmon 2x a week and tuna 1x a week for about a year. I do very little sugar and only whole wheat. One soda a week... my weakness. Basically a pescatarian. Lots of walnuts and olive oil. If good cholesterol can be raised by diet, I will eat whatever it takes. lol... I'm not quite up to any intense cardio yet. I do walk a lot. But jogging or even bike riding wear me out too quickly. Last blood test showed my bad cholesterol was in the ideal range and my good cholesterol was low. Mind you I am taking the maximum dose of Lipitor daily. Sucks but I'm told I could live until my 80's or more... as long as I don't get Covid... Pretty much cancel Christmas if I get it.
