Josh Allen, hometown kid. It would also be fun for me to see Josh vs the Niners in the SB BECAUSE (don't you DARE think I want the Niners in the SB)... it would tear all these Niner fans around me apart.... Hometown kid vs their Niners. The perpetually despicable Niner fans would be caught in a conundrum... unable to 'without backlash' be their normal vile and arrogant selves. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
think of the Rams as 'losers'? Just curious.. I did not. I mean yes, the frustration and anguish was through the roof but I never once thought of our Rams as 'losers'. To me this McVay era feels more like a return to normalcy to me... not something 'new'. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's see... that makes every year of my life without snow on Christmas. :laughing My family, all of them, continue to hope that maybe "one day". :laughing It might be somewhat 'white', however. Frost. Got down to 29ยบ last night... in the mornings I have to go out and start my pickup and let it run for 15 minutes to melt the frost on my windshield.... well, if I'm going anywhereby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Every grade school teacher I had was a space flight groupie. :laughing I remember when Sputnik flew it was all we discussed during 'science hour'. That continued thru High School... was it it like that for you guys? During those years most other kids my age were mildly interested but for whatever reason space flight and the Rams were everything to me. As I kid I'm not sure which I fantby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Like a kid High School age.... but that's rare. Not sure if it's because of my age... and everyone I know is well aware I've been a Ram fan FAR longer than they've been a fan of 'whomever'... OR - maybe it's because I've never smack talked with anyone about their team. Well... let me back off that statement a little.... the 'NEVER" smack talked anyone... I don't think it would be completely shocking for that to happen but certainly surprising. And yes, I think the Niners the best in the NFC and most likely to upset the AFC but again.. not likely too. Hurts is the real deal.... I'll give the Eagles that... but against the Niners I can't see the Eagles scoring more than 14 against that Niner D. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Of course Sunday Ticket will be a premium addition and I'm NOT expecting the price to go down... almost certainly it will go up.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
that I cannot remember the first Ram's game I ever saw. Over the years people on this board have posted about the first time they saw the Rams and nearly all of them, (maybe ALL of you guys?), have that memory. I was probably about 8-10. It was the late 50's... and sadly I cannot even remember the year... when I asked I say 1958 but it could have been 57', possibly 56'. We had just begunby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
When Apollo 11 landed I was in Rome. On the street Via Veneto to be precise. The street was lined with outdoor cafe's and crowds were heavy. We found a cafe that had a TV we could see and watched on a small black and white TV. When 11 landed it was like Macy's Thanksgiving Parade broke out.... people unfurled dozens, maybe hundreds, of American flags from the windows along Via Veneto andby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and databases. At one time I was actually pretty good with both. Then I retired. Before retiring I had created all the spreadsheets and databases I needed so except for some tweaks here and there, mostly when updates to my software is released, I'm using the same files I used when I farmed. I don't miss getting fancy with spreadsheets and databases. :laughing I'm down to a handful of soby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
And I believe they have.... but it still exists. Don't go by me here because I'm not the guy to ask BUT... my opinion is yes the outrageous fake injuries has been scaled back, considerably.... HOWEVER... What I notice now is that on a penalty, (a real penalty, not a fake one), the exaggeration comes in the way the pain is expressed... really over the top arm motions, facial expressions, jby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
For one thing... I rarely watch a soccer game unless it's part of the World Cup... IOW, every 4 years. That's somewhat of a give-away... but far more telling is this: I have never once participated in a who's better Messi - Ronaldo - Pele debate. The fact that I haven't got a clue is irrelevant. Until I go all Bruce Lee with someone over 'who is the best' I'm a pretender, a wanna-be, a phonby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
which means, of course, that when they fail... be it in the playoffs or worst case the SB it's going to be SWEET!!!!!!! Should they go out in the 1st round of the playoffs I'm buying everyone on the board a year supply of Guiness... or maybe some Chinese Handcuffs. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
My granddaughter did. 3 columns titled "Expensive" "Cheaper" and "Stocking Status". All on a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet. Each column has 20 rows. There are 'footnotes'. It's color coded and the individual cells are bordered in Red and Green. I had to scroll down to row 15 before the $ was even semi-reasonable. I do not remember the year.... I probably blocked it out because of the humiliation. And I have never before told this to anyone... pinkie swear! (I'm not kidding). Late into a season some time back I had begun watching a Ram's game... they had been eliminated. Mathematically eliminated. I was depressed but I'm a Ram's fan and I don't miss Ram games unless something damn important interfby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't have a brother. I have a sister but she didn't comprehend the human need to torture another person. :laughing The list of stupid things my cousin(s) and I did are far too long to list here. We came thru relatively unharmed, however... I mean just your typical black eyes, cuts and bruises, perhaps one or two broken bones. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Interesting actor. I've seen him many, many times over the years. Very versatile.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I liked it. I read something one time... or maybe heard it, I can't remember... that in any film there must be at least one character that you like. I think almost every person who watches Molly's Game will like Molly. I did not, but I didn't hate her, at all. I didn't like any of the characters in the movie. I did, however, like the movie. Go figure... I can't explain it. Duringby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Niners are improving by leaps and bounds. At this time I think a couple AFC teams can give them all they can handle... but not Philly... Niners will beat them to death... NOT, I don't think, a rout - at all... but by the end of the game the Eagles will be licking their wounds. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
This entire year I've been saying the Niners were missing something, not clicking... that has changed. They are coming together. I do not think, at this time, they have the best O in the league... but I might argue they 'should' have. Nor would I saw they have the best D in the league... but they're getting there. Not long ago I thought they stood little chance against Buff, KC, maybeby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

had a newfound interest in UFO's. I've always been intrigued by the idea of UFO's... but, as I've said many times, I never believed in them... and still don't... and yet, find the topic fascinating. I know, that doesn't make a lot of sense. :laughing I do think people who do believe in them have a leg to stand on, however. IOW... I don't just write off their opinions. I'm unconvinced... bby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I always have to google all those 'newer' actors/actresses you mention... I just don't know them. From 1970 to about 2005 I watched many comedy sitcoms but almost no more dramatic TV Series... those I have seen I saw in syndication and somewhat recently... like Monk, Longmire... the only series I can remember trying to see 'live' and every episode was Columbo... but perhaps there were a fewby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

which I'll get to in a moment. First.... this is not, as I said, a movie I recommend. Waterfield is right.... one of the all time most depressing movies. Not THE most, IMHO, but in the running.
