Amen to that, well said. We are very, very, lucky. Plus we got great ownership.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I kinda get what she is saying. To me he does come across as full of himself, but the proof of his talent is in his record. Additionally McVay's offensive schemes have affected the entire NFL and they've copied him. That's more than a frat pack guy could do. Yeah, he stunk that last game against Buffalo.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Now it's showing even worse. Probably a lot of the lower lvl peeps get paid poorly, leading to a poorer product. Amateurs!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, great video, thank you for posting.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought about Roman as well but since he never went to the big show I had to discount him. I suspect he could have thrived if he had the teams that Warner and Stafford had. I was so disappointed when they traded Roman, I felt betrayed.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I just watched American Underdog and it was a great movie. Near the end I had a thought, if Rams / us had to pick one of these, in their prime and healthy, to be their starting QB, who do you take? I'm a Kurt Warner fan so I'd pick him. I'm also a fan of Stafford and supported the trade for him 100% since day one because I knew how great he was in a dog-team like Detroit. The reason I'd picby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes watching that was pure gold. Thank you for posting.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I'd say both are concerns. Our RBs are not monster RBs and even with Whit last year we were ranked in the bottom quarter. Now with perhaps a weaker OLine I'm not sure we'll improve at all. Most of us remember that Tutu pick while that great center, (from Alabama) was still available. Didn't he become all-pro or all Rookie? Some of us felt that that poor pick would haunt us longer terby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I think SoCal hit the real question on the head. I'm not worried about our 4th or 5th WR, I'm more concerned if we can run the ball. That was our main offensive weakness last year wasn't it? Didn't we rank in the bottom third or quarter? If Buffalo is able to stop our run game cold they'll attack the pass. If we get behind a little we'll have to pass. That's a bad scenario. Stafford pullby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
That was nice to watch. Good to see him encouraging others. Maybe he can come back sooner.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought LM looked great, better than all the other 2nd and 3rds, but it was still just preseason. OTOH, I'm thinking VJ is getting more criticism than he deserves. Van did good in my book. Let's face it, I think all of us have some rosey colored glasses on when it comes to some of our team and our rookies / 2nd team players. A great acid test is coming in about a week. That should giveby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
1) Tartt He knows the 9ers and he's been a solid player. 2) Michel I feel like everybody else about signing him. 3) (OL) Williams Can't be any worse than Evans. Hell, I'm thinking of sending my resume to McSnead to try out for the OLine. I'll just have to bulk up. At least I won't stand there like a dufus and watch the LB run around me while I lumber and waddle around like a walrusby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, so bad. I wonder how other top teams have done with their firsts and seconds.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I see things the same way, however, I tell myself that McSnead has earned the benefit of the doubt. I don't like keeping Funk and Evans and Perkins but maybe they have value that we don't see, and maybe the guys we like have weaknesses we don't see. Still.... I'm doubtful, not positive.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
brought a smile to my face and made me laugh. Thank you.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
We do not have dependable RBs. Hendo has been a walking injury, Funk can't run, Akers has gotten injured enough, and our little ND RB is already injured. I would cut Funk and get the biggest and strongest RB available, someone who can take a hit. Maybe bring Frank Gore out of retirement! Maybe cut someone else also and bring in 2 RBs? I'm just spitballin. Our RB situation has been soby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not that smart and I'm not that good. I'm not trying to be modest it's just that I know there are a lot of guys on this board who are more knowledgeable and more passionate than me about the Rams and about the game. Isn't it always a pleasure to read Leaf, Aly, our expert on Contracts, and many others who have played at a higher level than average and post insights that we don't know?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The preseason games for the Rams are meant to evaluate talent and train players. Injuries happen and a team needs it's 2nd and 3rd string guys to be the best they can be in order to adequately replace the injured player. These games are not important to the first string but are important to the 2nd and 3rd string. It's obvious that the guys out there were doing their best to shine because theyby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, the Rams looked bad. Even their 3rd string QB embarrassed us! Outside of a few one-off's good defensive plays, this team looked like it was staffed by a bunch of Reeders: two seconds late and too weak tackling, fumbles, missed INTs, poor running and throwing, etc. Perkins looked mediocre, the o-line looked bad, Funk should be cut outright, I have no doubt there will be other better Rbs aby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
He's retired but under contract. My premise was if he said to the Rams, "Hey, I'd like to come back and play for Dallas just to make some big bucks, then I'd trade him." But if he said, "Hey, I want to play again for the Rams, then yeah, we'd have to keep him. I agree with you, it would be a real bad look for the Rams to trade him if he only wanted to come back to play for the Rby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I hear he's still under contract, if so, couldn't the Rams trade him?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you. Always a pleasure to read your work.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I appreciate that he posts all the links / articles. I don't read them all but some of them are pretty good. Thank you.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I like the guy's personality and zeal, but I think he's too little to be an every-down back. I think his pass catching skills may be his biggest contribution, must like Henderson. He was also a good blocking back for the QB in college so I'm assuming he'll be good in the pros. Like other guys on this board I'd preferred a bigger back say in the 230 range.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, he's definitely a back up but he did have a few moments in the sun. Didn't he have a three int. game 2 years ago? I'm glad he got a ring and I'm glad he's no longer our starting ILB.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Perkins wasn't very good in my opinion, so I'd like to see Perez play. He did real well in the other football league.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd cut Harris or Skrowanek to make room for McCutcheon. Cutch wouldn't drop the passes Skro dropped. OTOH, maybe I'm overly impressed based on his highlight reel, but wow he made some really touch catches.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
He better not be cut by the Rams, he is too good.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
