Yes, I believe he's going to be a dud but I've been wrong before and he did very well in his first game. It's always a mistake to underestimate your opponents. Lance may be quite a difficult QB to beat.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams were a below average, mediocre rushing team last year. I agree that it's odd that McVay wants to rush better but he keeps drafting little guys like K. Williams as RBs. Those undersized backs can't push the pile or take the beating like the bigger backs.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd love to have MB back as well. I don't remember why he left but I never liked losing him. Seemed like a mistake.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I barely remember him, but it's nice to see a former Ram do well in life.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I see what you did there and I liked it!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
He really does have elite skills. I would not fool myself into thinking Tutu or anyone other than A. Robinson could replace him. Be so nice to have him in there with Kupp and A. Rob.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Thank you very much JH, It was so pleasant to see and relive those great times and plays. Such a blessing, thank you. Very much appreciated. And oh! did you see! The collection of the best Rams' uniforms ever! Bring back the royal blue and whites!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
He missed that one pass that bounced off his hand and caused an INT in the SB. I seem to recall he missed a tough catch against the 49ers too in the NFC champ. game. OTOH, I'd rather see Skow get the playing time instead of Tutu because as the article suggests he's bigger and a better run blocker.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Gabriel to Snow was art, not sports; it was a thing of beauty. But, despite my romanticized memories of that combo I have to say that Kupp is a better WR than Snow. Man, I'm going to watch some highlights of Kupp and Snow just for old times sake. Great and fun memories. Snow's son played MLB, J. T. Snow IIRC.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey 43, A few years ago, seems like a generation ago, maybe when FDR was President, (now that success has sweetened my memory), I remember you predicting that the Rams, after hiring McVay, were going to do real good. Several people, including me, thought, "Boy that guy 43 is really seeing the world through rosy colored glasses! Ha ha, there's no way the Rams are going to win 10 games andby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post all that you do.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I liked his approach to football. Didn't he assign some LBer type to go take out the kicker on kickoffs! Perhaps that puts me in a bad light but I really get a laugh out of that! The best story I remember about him was that the Eagles had a game coming up against Miami and in a press conference Ryan said that the Dolphins were a bad team that couldn't play well and that the Eagles should beaby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Good point Ramgator. I noticed that many of his long balls were underthrown, some were intercepted and many of the completions were even underthrown and our receiver had to slow down and wait for them. Stafford's long ball was not as long as he thought he could throw it. Either his arm is now just weaker or he had an actual injury that hampered his long ball throw. Either way, he has to lby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Just once one of the coaches or senior players said, "Boy that guy Joe Crush we drafted out of Iowa really sucks. He's slow, weak, and doesn't get it. We blew a draft pick on him. He'll be cut by the end of the week!"by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The "ranking" conversation about Stafford has been going on for some time around the NFL world given his superbowl win. I'm not trying to play the contrarian here but I do give the guys who made the rankings some respect. 1) I think that the stink of Detroit is still on Stafford and it has tainted him, unfairly, in the eyes of many. 2) He didn't have a fantastic year stat-wise.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Not in the HoF! Wow, I'd thought he'd been in a long time ago. I remember to this day how him and Randy Vataha killed big bad Ohio State in the Rose bowl. Plunkett was stone-cold amazing! He should be in the HoF.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not that classy, but thank you 43, and I'm not the most knowledgeable about Rams stuff on this board but I try to make good posts. I believe that most all of us appreciate the work and good posts that so many of us fans make. Such a nice, indepth variety as well. We got two or three semi-professional scouts, one contract expert, several ex-players and coaches, a good mama, and a couple oby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't miss Zn one bit, in fact I'm glad he's gone because his absence made this board a better place for guys and gals to talk Rams football without having to get into antagonizing, never-ending arguments about minutia, and being nit-picked over any minor point. Knowledgeable and intelligent people are fairly common, people with integrity, honesty, and some humility are more rare. I don't wanby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey, when you're the champs you get to be flamboyant, and why not! They earned it! If they win it next year I hope they bump it up another notch! Make it fit over two fingers!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
We won't have to worry about the Cards for a while! Wow, such a bad management team to give such an underwhelming QB such a big payday. LOL. It's good to have such incompetent teams in our division.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, when both records are compared McVay comes out on top strongly. McVay is 2nd in winning percentage just behind LaFleur at GB. Snead is just above average. . I would just like to see them cut out the cutesey - vanity draft picks. That's the only continuing eyesore I see.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The best malt I've had in my life was from the Route 66 diner before it burned down. The best bread I've had was the pesto bread from the Artichoke cafe. There was another mom and pop shop, up the street, that made Italian roast beef sandwiches that were the best ever. I think I liked El Pinto mexican food best, even though it was usually too hot for me.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
You can't argue with success. Period. However, I would not call the wasted "vanity" draft picks as minor. We missed out on real OLinemen talent last year. McSnead has had a couple of those wasted picks over the years. I appreciate that the article highlights several of the bad moves McSnead has made. I don't believe they are super-human/intelligent/wise/perceptive. Clearly thby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Since it's the off-season we can talk about stuff like this. I've got nostalgia for the simple blue and whites. I can tolerate a little gold I guess. But I have never liked the yellow. Forgive me.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Gee, great painting and I'm assuming that's a pic of you. Very nice. How's bout sending me some green chilis? I lived in ABQ for a couple of years. Best mom and pop restaurants I've seen in any city I've lived in. Also NM spoiled me for Mexican food. The stuff they have in the Detroit area is pretty bad, even if nationals are cooking it because there's no competition or standard for compaby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
