QuoteRams43 Quotezn QuoteRams43 Left side seems clearly set plus Sully sounds like our new starting C. No big surprises at those 3 positions. But the right side? I think Kromer is gonna be exploring lots of options at RG and RT. . Hav is at guard. That's not going to be tinkered with. The one open question is who starts at ROT. .... Well, I suspect that all five positions require a fair amount of thinking and never understood why some folks on this board felt as though Robinson would have more success inside then at tackle. If there's any position where I think he could succeed, it would be at DT or NG.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSoCalRAMatic Most interesting thing about the article is the fact that GRob is still only 24. And in his short tenure with the Rams he was put at LG, them was rushed into LT and now is going to RT. He was a very raw talent coming out of a run only scheme and he keeps moving around and having to learn new schemes while learning to pass block. Rams offensive lineman Greg Robinson staying positive while competing for a starting job By: Gary Klein May 31, 2017 He was the No. 2 pick in the NFL 2014 draft but has struggled with penalties and protection issues playing left tackle. The Rams this offseason signed a three-time Pro Bowl player to take his spot, moved him to the right side and then declined to exercise their fifth-yearby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax <snipped> The implication is that Kupp is already a coach on the field and that Goff can trust him to be in the right place consistently. DJ said that applies to Woods as well and the Rams have those 2 guys as dependable assets at WR. This is good to hear. But in looking back at recent history when we drafted another QB in the 1st round... I don't believe that a similby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam <snipped> But really; here we have a 12 year NFL vet QB who knows what questions to ask, what a BS response is versus what are real football answers... Do we? Quotemax I think its clear that Goff has no excuses this year, unless the OL gives us a repeat performance from last year. That aside, if Goff looks horrible again this year then the chances of him being any good go down dramatically. If he stinks it up then the Rams are gonna be in a big hole. They are gonna be stuck trying to salvage him for at least 3 years and that will run into the openiby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

NFL mock draft 2.0: Look for Cleveland to select QB Deshaun Watson with first pick By: Sam Farmer April 1, 2017 NFL mock drafts are a little like paper road maps, a relic from the pre-smartphone age. You fold them, refold them, refold them a different way, and they eventually disintegrate and fall apart in your hands. Still, they’re an entertaining exercise, the truest form of fantasyby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator Saying SEE YA!!! to Oakland, having a big press conference in Vegas.........And STILL playing in Oakland for the next two years???? This is a big game of chicken, IMO. When the league went with the Inglewood project last year, it gave the Chargers the right of first refusal with respect to tenancy. If they declined to act upon it, then the Raiders would have the opportunityby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

Other scouting reports on him confirm similar flaws that denote a lack of professionalism and consistent focus. I appreciate your baseless support, though. Quotedzrams <snipped> Juju wins with size and strength and good route running. Agree on size and strength. Disagree with respect to Juju being a good route runner. As a matter of fact, it's unclear to me if either WR is a good route runner. But it's a lot harder to tell with Godwin as the PSU offense was based strictly on running the ball and throwing deep. Whereas I've watched Smith-Schuster for the past 3 seasons here at USC, I've only seen Godwin once in this year's Rose Bowl. After his spectacular performance there, I started reviewing more of his PSU highlights. Thereafter, it would appear to me that both are similar players. But after seeing Godwin record a 4.42 40 at the combine, I have to give him the edge. His PSU highlights wouldn't haby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

Rams sign free-agent center Ryan Groy to two-year offer sheet By Gary Klein March 14, 2017, 12:50 PM The signing of free-agent left tackle Andrew Whitworth last week gave the Rams a fix to one part of an offensive line that was a major liability in 2016. They also are taking steps to shore up the middle. The release of center Tim Barnes last week cleared the way for the Rams toby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Unless something dramatic occurs between his ears, I have a hard time seeing how Robinson will be able to adapt to something new. He had 3 years to "get it" under Fisher and Boudreau and still didn't know what to do. Forget G, I'd like to see him at DT. The instructions would be pretty simple: A) Hit the guy with the ball; and, B ) Run over anyone who stands in between you and theby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Floyd, to me, is a bigger and somewhat better Quick. Not explosive, but more refined. Has had some awfully good training with the Cards. QuoteTonyHunter87 It seems they could have used this money to get a number 1 receiver along with Whitworth. Don't get me wrong, I like the Woods signing but he's a number 2 at best and the Rams have had plenty of those. With Hayes and Sims gone, it's to imagine that they don't fill that hole. QuoteBumRap I'm just say. Speed hands and ethic can go a long ways in the right system. Well, you'll never confuse him with Julio Jones, but...like you said, "...in the right system" I don't see why he can't be a Doug Baldwin type. a team would want to take on TruJo's contract at the expense of a premium pick (i.e. 2nd or early 3rd rounder). Though a good CB, I don't see him as pushing a contending team "over the top" and thus justifying the cap hit. And because he's playing on a one-year deal, I don't see an emerging team taking on his contract and potentially being unable to sign him long-term. At worstby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Without solidifying the OL first, it's hard to see how effective Jeffrey can be for this team. And because of our draft position, immediate help from a rookie is unlikely. That means we're going to need to look for help via FA which is going to dry up the kind of $ needed for Jeffrey. I still see the Rams going after LT Matt Kalil and a C with moderate contracts.
