If he could be picked up for 2 or 3 years at $2.5 mil per year, he would be worth having.
Although I disagree with your assertion that Floyd is "...somewhat better than Quick," (I think that he's a significantly better player) I have to agree that he's been a classic underachiever. But his ability to track and come down with the deep ball would definitely fit a need area for our WR corps. I think the terms you came up with would be worth it.
