QuoteAt Robinson’s pro day in 2014, his coaches warned teams that it’d take the physically imposing prospect time to learn to play in the pros, given that Auburn was only running a handful of run plays and a handful of protections. The fact is, Robinson hasn’t shown the mental capacity to get there since, and that has led to growing problems with consistency and penalties. “He’s not instinctivby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBigGame81 That's a lot less than Harbaugh. Shaw seems well situated at Stanford but if Kroneke offered him $10 mil would he turn down that much of a raise to stay in the same state? Likely not. But I don't see Kroenke offering nearly that much $ for an unproven coach (at the NFL level) either. I believe that the Rams offer a good situation for Shaw. It's only a question of whetheby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
It'd be awfully difficult to pry him away from Stanford, but considering: the youthful potential on the Rams offense; Shaw's track record of coaching disciplined teams; and, his penchant for fielding tough defenses... He'd be a perfect fit for this team. He's not flashy...just effective.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Though I agree that Detroit would be a good time to play Goff, I wouldn't do the halftime thing. If he's ready to play, give him the 1st team reps in practice this week and start him.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotenapoli Fisher has no Balls. With out a doubt they should have gone for it on 4th down. And if they didn't get a TD. The D was playing great and the bills would be pinned inside the the 5. And think about it...we're only considering the downside here. Suppose we actually do score a TD? The Rams are down by 7 points in a game where our offense had trouble scoring, but their defense had recovered from a shaky 1st half. We're midway through the 4th quarter and, despite our offensive troubles, we're on the Bill 4-yard line. But it's 4th down. Now, considering the above-listed scenario, I'm unsure as to why Fisher didn't go for the TD. Granted, unless he was going to go for a 2-pby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

Play Mannion. Fact of the matter is...opposing DC's have had a "book" on Keenum for a while now. Whatever you think his mental game is, it ain't nearly enough to overcome his physical limitations. And those physical limitations hurt us just as much as an inexperienced, stronger-armed QB.by ramBRO - Game Time Forum
I think that's why we should've gone for it on 4th & goal. The FG still required us to drive the field for a TD - a TD that Keenum would have had trouble securing with the defense sitting on everything.by ramBRO - Game Time Forum
Simply cannot exacerbate existing issues by trying to make that throw when defenders are sitting on all of your short routes.by ramBRO - Game Time Forum
Scoring TD's are a problem for us. No reason to believe we were gonna march down the field and get one with our offense. If we don't score...no problem. At least we'd have the Bills backed up for our D to try and stop them. If they (the defense) succeeded in getting a stop, then our offense would've had a short field to work with.by ramBRO - Game Time Forum

Yeah, I thought about the injury issue as well so I checked out his stats which revealed that, for the past three seasons, Woods has played in 14, 16, and 14 games. It appears as though he had to shut it down early last season when it was revealed that he'd been playing with a torn groin muscle which required surgery. But I don't think those #'s would technically qualify him to be an injury risk.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
With the Bills coming to town, I'll be paying special attention to their WR, Robert Woods. The Bills selected Woody in the 2nd round of the 2013 draft out of USC. Since then, he's had a non-descript career. But I have to wonder if a player like him (route-runner/possession type) is really going to be able to shine with the likes of EJ Manuel, Kyle Orton and Tyrod Taylor at QB? I agree with you that the DB didn't expect Keenum to go long. But that's neither Keenum's or Quick's fault. They simply took advantage of what was presented and executed their respective roles perfectly. Remember, Quick could have run a lazy route and dropped the ball. And Case could've "noodle-armed" it too. The stars aligned on that one and I hope for more.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
I haven't had an opportunity to rewatch the game, but in watching live yesterday, I thought that Keenum was getting some solid protection on passing plays. There were even a couple of times where he was actually able to step up into a defined pocket. I don't recall any elaborate blitzes, but then again, it's fairly established that opposing DC's aren't thinking of new and inventive ways to stop Kby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com

So I caught the Jeff Fisher Show this evening on the way in from work. At the end of the program, D'marco Farr essentially asked Fisher what the team needed to do in order to beat the Seahawks on Sunday. Fisher mentioned the following: 1) Run the ball better and stop the Seahawk rushing attack; 2) Limit big plays from Russell Wilson; 3) Need big plays on special teams; and, 4) Neeby ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
could be had. We have Gurley, Goff, workable TE's, and a (mostly) young O-line. In many ways, he has to like what we have to work with. And no out-of-control egos on the roster. Like most things...we just need to come up with the cheddar for him AND HIS STAFF.by ramBRO - RamsFootballFans.com
