Thanks for sharing. I have been a Rams fan since roughly 1972. 1979 was super exciting. Of course I lived in Iowa, so barely got any coverage and almost never saw a game. But I was a solid, every week fan from the beginning. The 90's were rough, but 1999 was far and away the best and funnest season to be a Rams fan ever. So exciting. Watching them dominate, but come up short in the nexby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I hated our chances playing the Packers at Lambeau in January. Luckily the 49ers went there and beat them, allowing us the chance to beat the 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Wouldn't it be cool if the Packers knocked off the Cowboys next week, then got their revenge by beating the 49ers in the divisional round? Then we could beat the Packers easily in the NFC Championship game! I knowby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I kept waiting for us to benefit from a ridiculous call by the refs, but I never saw it. Maybe they did it by ignoring Kendricks.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Is he perfect? Far from it. Has his playcalling cost us games? Undoubtedly. But to take a roster this young and inexperienced, start out slow at 3-6, then continue working ( work works) and developing and growing the players until we come in and finish out the season 7-1, with our only loss in OT to the best team in football? This dude is the best Rams coach of my lifetime for how he cby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean, Wentz is very different from Stafford and he offers the threat of a running QB. Do you bring him in here and there on 3rd and 2? Make the other team think about one more thing? Maybe bring him in for the 4 minute drill? Probably the answer is stick with the guy that brung you. But still, I have to think there may have been a reason McVay showcased his running so much in the 2nby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com

With this secondary? Am I the only person who's noticed that if you just go back and throw long passes you can have explosive plays all day long on our secondary? I'm not sure why anyone does anything else That haven't been said we are in the playoffs and won six out of seven so we must be doing something right.by RantoulRam - Game Time Forum
He doesn't even go through one progression he's simply chooses somebody before the snap and stares at them and throws the ball to them which is generally defense by the defense who can clearly tell it's coming. This guy was a starting quarterback? Not to mention how bad he's missing people. He can go right back to his couch. Any chance we could get Ryan Fitzpatrick for the playoffs? :-)by RantoulRam - Game Time Forum

without the fumbles and missed kick. This team has been playing surprisingly well in stretches, but then with weird breakdowns due to playcalling, allowing big plays, getting FGs instead of TDs. I would just love to see the team put it all together in the same game. This Rams team playing at its best beats this Saints team playing at its best by 8-10 points. Just hope we play our best.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you. Taking some time to be grateful for the things we have is important. On the flip side, I do wonder if making it so unaffordable to attend live games will eventually erode the NFL's popularity. But with most tickets being sold on the secondary market these days, not a lot the league can do about it.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Do you'all remember the playoff game against the Cowboys in 2018? We went in there and just ran the ball down their throats over and over. I think in the end we had more than 200 yards on the ground. That is the game plan I would love to see us use against the Saints if their run defense is vulnerable. With Kyren having sat out so much of the season, he is fresh. Kobie Turner has been more than solid. Byron Young seems to be hitting a wall but his stats are up there with first round pass rushers. And our punter is doing his job at least well and maybe better than well.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
My best guess is that we would have a pretty good offense to start, and that *hopefully* the young defense would get better and better as they got reps and experience. Instead, the defense has played pretty decent (with some definite lapses) all year, and its the offense that just seems to really be rounding into form now. Honestly guys, with the lack of TALENT and EXPERIENCE on this year'sby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I will be hanging out with girlfriend and family on Christmas eve and day and can watch football here or there, but don't need to plan around a Rams game. I HATE Thursday football and it is full proof that nothing matters to the league except $$$$. But it works out for me this year and at least the Saints have the same schedule.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I would like to make an adjustment to the pass interference rule. Specifically I would like to make it that defensive pass interference will not be called if the receiver is running back toward the quarterback or the line of scrimmage I guess We see too many cheap game-changing pass interference calls when a receiver is running with the cornerback trailing both at full speed. Then the wideby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
You have to admit that Lafleur, Taylor and to a lesser extent O'Connell have done well as head coaches. It is actually pretty impressive. Too bad Brandon Staley has failed so epically.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This year we have played better than I expected. We have hung tough and put a scare into the 9ers, the Eagles and Ravens, only to lose in the end. The offense is cooking, and the defense is playing WAY better than it has any right to with the number of inexperienced veterans and rookies on the field. All that said, we have had a LOT of stressful games, both wins and losses this year. Theby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, I don't know if it is CORRECT analysis, but they slow things way down and look very closely at some of the cconcepts the Rams are running. Very informative and not just regurgitated pablum as so many NFL videos are.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I watch a lot of analysis videos on YouTube and listen to several NFL podcasts. Based on the analysis of mostly individuals who do not watch the Rams specifically, there are a lot of people who do not agree with you. Anybody who does not want to keep McVay as our HC clearly was not a Rams fan between 2004-2016, or 1990-1998. Coaches this good are hard to find. Rare, even. He is not perfect. But he is WAY better than anyone we had in those two time periods, until we got Vermeil. And I think he is probably better than Vermeil.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
