This year we have played better than I expected. We have hung tough and put a scare into the 9ers, the Eagles and Ravens, only to lose in the end.
The offense is cooking, and the defense is playing WAY better than it has any right to with the number of inexperienced veterans and rookies on the field.
All that said, we have had a LOT of stressful games, both wins and losses this year. The Commanders have the worst pass defense in the NFL and one of the worst defenses in points. Is it too much to ask to just go score a TD on the first two series, then hold a double digit lead through the rest of an eventual 21 point win?
We have seen good offense and good defense this year. Just usually not at the same time. (Except maybe vs the Seahawks.) Even McVay has occasionally let us down with his play calling. How about everyone having a good game the same week?
Is that asking so much?
