QuoteBC Ramsfan Thought Barron had a pretty good game. Some key tackles and the INT. Ogletree still tackling too high, let Zak score on that swing. A good tackle had him out of bounds at least. BC I was so angry about Ogletree's missed tackle on 3rd and goal I was still @#$%& about after the game was over. QuoteRamFanEsq 1. They won. Enjoy! 2. I think we should give Wade a chance. He may get the D issues worked out. I agree. They will only get better the more they play together. Only Barwin has any experience in this system.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteJYB QuoteSuh-weet! Quotereggae I remember Higbee having a huge drop. Huge drop on a PERFECT ball. Yeah, that was a beautiful pass in pretty tight coverage. Don't think the defender got a hand on it, either. I thought he did get a hand in late, although I only saw the play live.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com

I would hazard to guess it had to do with gaining experience and familiarity with both the system and new teammates. Goff has a new coach, a new system, a new offensive line (40% at least), and new receivers with no more than 3 quarters (estimated) of game time experience playing together. Leaving Goff, and Gurley, in through the 4th quarter won't speed up the learning process, but leaving himby 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
I am intrigued, but not for than a 5th rounder. I don't believe 30 years old is too old, and all we have to do is ask Wade. If we were to trade for Ward I would be confident in the decision because of Phillip's experience with him as late as 9 months ago.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't mind it if they traded Tavon as he will still be on my Madden franchise. I think Holt was right. Austin is a special teams superstar, and that is all. Not that there is anything wrong with that.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
There seems to be a glut of veteran players on the trade block. I think it's due to the 90 man roster allowance right up until the "final" cut. I've seen a few intriguing names. S T.J. Ward (the Broncos are in trade negotiations with an unknown team) CB Joe Haden OL Cam Irving I know Ward has ties with Wade Phillips, and he would be an upgrade at the SS position. QuoteNorCalRamFan Kony Ealy. I am intrigued by him as well, especially considering the absences of Donald and Easley. I know he is a solid 43 DE, but I am uncertain how he would fit into a 34.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 he has not been able to come close to playing a full season in 2 years due to various injuries. His best season was 4 years ago and he hasn't come close to that because he is often injured. He has barely played in camp this and will miss the entire preseason -suggesting he is fragile and continues to get dinged up. I don't think that is a knee jerk reaction. QuoteSaguaro You were doing great until you mixed that metaphor. Ah, I remember reading about the old west..sharks swimming peacefully down the Oregon trail, until an attack by hostiles. That's when the sharks would circle the wagons! Unless...did you do that on purpose? You took the turds right out of my mouth, so to speak.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedzrams Quotezn Quote9-99 There does seem to be a lot of pressure to re-up a player we have total control of for at least 4 yrs. This situation seemed to have begun in an emotional place. I hope I am wrong. It;'s because the Rams are not approaching it as having him "under control." They're approaching it as him being a special player who has earned more. I love AD's game, and I usually side with the player (because I want them to be on the field). However, the Rams hold all of the leverage. I hate to say this, but let him sit. If he tries to come back for the final 8 games to accrue a year towards FA then suspend him for conduct detrimental to the team...rinse and repeat. AD is special, but he's not bigger than the team.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com

I thought the Raider should've been flagged as well, but I couldn't remember whether incidental helmet-to-helmet contact was only a penalty when it involved the QB.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit QuoteGreatRamNTheSky QuoteClassicalwit Joyner might be the one guy who will keep Rams opponents in the game that should otherwise be blown out. Grits Unfortunately, I think he is the only option. He's a veteran, and none of the younger guys are ready. That other dude (#38) is always late. I believe Joyner will be fine, if not better, at FS. My ONLY concern is how heby 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought it was Mo Alexander who was beaten on the play. It appeared as if Joyner came over from FS, and he came close to jarring the ball loose. I suspect that if the receiver had not been close to 300# he might have succeeded.by 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
This happened in the 90's with Sean Gilbert. He held-out into the regular season, and the Rams ended up trading him to the Carolina Panthers. Gilbert's only option was to not play, and his only hope of changing his situation was if the Rams traded him. IMO, the only way Donald walks away without the Rams receiving any compensation is if he does not play during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, andby 9-99 - RamsFootballFans.com
