At 4-3, the Rams would be only one game over .500 just before the midpoint of the season. At 5-2, they would be three games over .500 and would have the best record in the NFC. The Rams are at a stage at which win vs loss can make a huge difference. Later in the year, this might not be the case. For example, if they go on a winning streak and get to 7-2, they would still have a good chance of makby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

They did indeed get some good players, but there were numerous catastrophic selections with high picks.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...it is nice to have a "pinch me" draft! I agree with your assessment. It is nice to see Higbee playing well, but I would like to see Everett get more opportunities. He looked great before getting banged up. I would also like to see Reynolds get more opportunities. I am leaving for a sea trip to the Arctic tomorrow. It will be my third trip to that amazing part of the world, but it wilby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I was traveling yesterday and didn't get to see the game, but I have a few comments based on plays viewed online. I had been concerned about Gurley's habit of reaching out with the football near the goal line. That is a very risky thing to do unless it's 4th down or the last play of the game. It is an especially bad choice when you are going to at worst have a 1st and goal near the one yard line.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...the great TD to Bill Waddy that beat the Cowboys in the 1979 playoff game. It was a similar route and pass, it was a similar distance, it was a fast pass, the ball was caught on the run through traffic, it went from right to left as viewed on TV, it covered a similar path along the field, and it was in the Cowboys' stadium. Lots of similarities.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
Late in the first half, I was going to post that I had a feeling the Rams would pull it out, but I was too focused on the game to take time out to post.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

Cooper adds nothing to this team as a receiver or returner.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
In 1969, the Rams beat the Cowboys 24-23 to go 10-0. Six weeks later, they beat them 31-0 in the infamous Playoff Bowl.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I was going to say 35-31, but that was the score in 1989.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I have seen no sign that Cooper is a threat for the big return. Most of the Rams returns have been stopped inside the 25 yard line. When you consider the possibility of a fumble, penalty (which the Rams get all too frequently), and injury, it just isn't worth it to bring the ball out of the end zone. If the ball is going to hit the ground around the 5 yard line, I would let it hit and then fieldby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

There is no rule against leaving your feet to make a tackle. In fact, a 49ers player left his feet to make a TD saving tackle on the first play from scrimmage. Unless it's spearing or some other illegal hit, it's OK to leave your feet. He was just releasing the ball when hit. Donald had no way of knowing if it was a pass or a pump fake. When the Rams drafted Goff, I expected him to do this well on the basis of his accuracy, leadership, and decision making, but there was a nadir during the preseason when I started to have serious doubts. I was a bit concerned last year when he threw too many passes off the mark, but I kept hoping that Fisher being a disaster of a coach was the cause of Goff's struggles as a rookie.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
The score was 57-31. Warner had a perfect 158.3 passer rating. That game was the high point of the GSOT offensive juggernaut.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I may have missed it, but I don't believe the receiver protested the offensive pass interference call at the time. If true, that would be very telling. It's hard to understand how an official could imagine it. Since it was called, it would seem that the official must have seen something. It is possible for a receiver to get open with a subtle push-off that is hard to detect from some angles. Hasby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm fairly confident that the Rams will get the problems fixed. With extra days to make corrections after the Thursday game, they might start getting things smoothed out by the Cowboys game. From a personnel point of view, I would like to see them replace Austin and Cooper in the return game. Neither has been effective, and both have made costly errors. I would bet they could find a better KO retby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
That was a horrid Rams team against a Cowboys team that went on to win the Super Bowl. We won't know for sure until well into the season, but the 2017 Rams could very well be superior to the 2017 Cowboys.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

Back when I was 22 and seemingly indestructible, I got kneed in the thigh (dead center of the front of the thigh) while playing basketball. It was extremely painful and it took a while to heal. Even if one were to tough it out, it would be impossible to run at full speed with such an injury. So it is probably best to sit out until it heals.
