Georgia Frontiere's ex-husband was a musician who composed the theme song for the Clint Eastwood film, "Hang 'Em High," which can be heard here... While watching that movie, I noticed that the theme song is very similar to "The Raiders," an NFL films song. I have the NFL Films music, but I don't know of anywhere to listen to it online.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...get it right. I said highly plausible, not highly possible. It would come as no surprise for an NFL running back to reach the end of his career after a major knee injury that was followed by several years of carrying a heavy load.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
Playing in the NFL is brutal on the body. Gurley already had a serious injury before entering the NFL. It is highly plausible that his career is coming to and end. It is also within the realm of possibilities that it is near the end and neither the Rams or Gurley have accepted it. Only time will tell. But this is the reality of Not For Long.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...it would be best to wait to announce until after the Draft. It seems plausible that he could retire. If he does and the Rams want to target a replacement, it would be in the best interest of the team to hold off on revealing it.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

He didn't get away with it in the Bears and Eagles games and the Super Bowl. It would be nice if he has some new innovations next season, but I'm not aware of any reason to expect them. If he has any new innovations, the Super Bowl would have been the right time to deploy them.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay had vastly superior talent. When a great coach comes along with new ideas and superior talent, his team should prevail. This is what happened, for example, with Bill Walsh in 1981. I am concerned that McVay has had his moment in the sun and that he will never make it back to the Super Bowl. From the Bears game, to the Eagles game, to the Super Bowl, the Rams offense struggled and McVay didnby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't believe this board has existed for as long as some of the answers that have been given. So I will assume the question is how long we have been members of whatever Rams board existed at the time. I was a member of some Rams board that involved an email list or a primitive type of listserve starting in the early 1990s. I don't know who ran it, how it worked, if any of the discussions have sby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
During a long drive yesterday, I had several hours to think about the Super Bowl and concluded that it was a battle of coaches. Bill Belichick versus Wade Phillips. Sean McVay was a no-show. Belichick's strategy was for his defense to blanket the Rams receivers. Phillips inexplicably used soft coverage on the Patriot's receivers, and that was the difference in the game. Leading up to the Super Boby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it's possible that McVay could out-coach Blichick. I think the Rams have better players. So the end result of the game could at least give the impression that McVay out-coached Belichick. If this happens, it could symbolize the end of an era for the Patriots.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I arrived in (and departed) Atlanta today. I was driving through the area and passed the exit for Mercedes Benz Stadium on I-85. It was tempting to attend the game, but I would prefer to watch it on TV. While driving through Atlanta, I was wondering what the Rams were doing at the time.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
The media loves to fan the flames of controversy. They did so by repeatedly showing a misleading view of the play in which it is hard to tell when the ball arrives relative to when contact occurred. It was a bang-bang play, and the receiver got up and went back to the huddle without complaint. It could have been called pass interference, but as we all know there were other crucial plays in that gby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
It looks like Bruce (as the only WR on the ballot) has a good chance of getting into the HOF this year. It will be an awesome year for the Rams if he gets in and they win the Super Bowl.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
It was interesting that Bruce pointed out that it was a bang-bang play and that the WR didn't protest. He also mentioned that it was wise of Robey-Coleman to not look over at the ref. I wish that Robey-Coleman and other members of the Rams defensive backfield would more frequently display wisdom and self-control. Let's take Joyner, for example. Starting at a very early level in football, defensivby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I see a serious potential problem with the idea of reviewing for penalties. I would bet that, on a fairly high percentage of plays, there is something that could be called. For that reason, a coach could cherry pick a few potentially game changing plays each game. The reviewing official would have to decide whether or not to call tacky-tack penalties that are often let go by the refs. Since the pby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

My motive for asking this question has nothing to do with the non-call in the Rams-Saints game, but isn't it unsportmanlike conduct to rip off an opponent's helmet? If so and they had called it, it would have backed the Saints 15 yards further from the end zone, and it probably would have meant 3 points rather than 7 points.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
After loading the video onto my computer, I went through the play frame by frame. I used two camera angles and found that there was no contact until 1/6 of a second before the ball arrived. At the end of the play, an official was standing beside the receiver, who went right back to the huddle without the slightest protest (not a word and no body language). It was a bang-bang play in which there wby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

There are multiple views at espn.com. They keep showing the deceptive view because that gives them something to talk about. There was another excellent example of the effect of camera angle in the AFC game. It sure looked like Edlemann touched the ball on the punt return. On one view, it appeared that he touched it with one or both thumbs. In another view, however, it was clear that he didn't touby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams lost the Bears game by making a foolish penalty on a kickoff return that left them pinned deep in their own territory. After they did the same thing against the Saints, I turned off the TV and went for an hour walk. I turned the game back on in the second half after returning from the walk. It's nearly impossible to win big games on the road when you administer self inflicted wounds. Whyby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
To understand the play that supposedly should have been called pass, it is most informative to watch it in the view from the side of the trajectory of the pass. That view provides a perspective of the location of the ball relative to the defender and the receiver, and it's easy to see that the defender makes contact with the receiver a split second before the ball arrives. The non-call on that plby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

It was the second game of the year for the Canes, who beat a great Nebraska team earlier that year to become national champions. There was an absolutely electric atmosphere in a packed, neutral stadium, with Canes fans from to the south and Gators fans from to the north. The Gators took the lead with a late TD, but Bernie Kosar marched the Canes right back for a TD to take the lead back. Secondsby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
