My first memories of Musburger was him calling NBA games in the late 70's when many of the games were tape delayed and broadcast late at night. He was also the studio host for many of the Laker championship runs into the 80's. I've always his play calling..his reference to betting lines during college football games have always cracked me up.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
JG is being seen as an average at best QB, and that he is sure to fail ultimately. I think JG is widely regarded as a QB who McVay basically created and has now given up on, despite the team giving him a mega contract recently. We should be learning alot about both JG and SM in the next 2-3 seasons.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
On the cap, I sure hope your right, as our chips are all pushed in once again! If something like what your suggesting doesn't happen, it would be a big blow...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com

with the Rams was finalized with the brutal INT he threw in Seattle? I'm sure McSnead was already somewhat down on him, but that may have pushed it over the edge. Obviously, I'm just spit balling, but that INT stood out as particularly brutal. Regardless of what you think of Goff's play, this was handled about as bad as it possibly could've been. Just brutal...JG definitely deserved better.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
no matter what anyone within the organization thinks of JG, he did lead the team to a superbowl and has led this team to many wins over the last few years. Again, I'm not arguing about his QB play one way or another, but IMHO he is being disrespected and deserves better.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Regardless of whether they still think Goff can be THE guy to lead this team back to another Super Bowl and with not knowing what is going on behind the scenes, I think this is being handled very poorly by McVay and Snead. Its just a bad look.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I tend to agree Sure Goff has struggled at times, and needs to be more consistent to take this team to the next level. Having said that, Snead and McVay definitely deserve a fair amount of blame as well. This is just a bad look. Can we bring in competition for the GM and head coach too?by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
that all 3 of those units didn't perform anywhere close to their capability on Saturday. That top 3 ranking sure didn't hold up against top notch competition, although AD's injury surely affected their play somewhat. I wonder what PFF would rank these units for Saturday's performance?by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That very thought hit me after this game. I don't have any stats to back it up, but it seems to me that McVay tends to get pass happy in these matchups. The most frustrating thing about this, is that one of those guys coaches the Whiners, UGH!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Van Jefferson too! I know it is a smaller sample size, but he looked very good today. I'm thinking he could have a bright future as well.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yep, overall it was a successful season for sure! Having said that, they will have to get over the total inconsistency in their play. If we had won some of the games against teams we should've beat, maybe we wouldn't of had to travel to Lambeau this early in the playoffs. But again, I agree with you overall!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
No, it wasn't a good game by the O, but they had pretty limited opportunities as well. Missing Kupp hurt, but VJ sure looked good. With Akers and Van being added to this offense, I think they could have a bounce back year next season.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Not going to win too many games when your defense gives up nearly 500 yards of offense, while the opposing offense holds the ball for over 36 minutes, and gets a total of 2 stops the entire game. The pack scored on every possession except for those 2 that they punted, and they took a knee when going in for another score. The pack also nearly had a 29 second TD drive to end the first half.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah obviously AR and the Packer offense are probably the best offense we've faced, but the Defense played an awful game to go along with that. There were a couple drops and a couple errant Rodgers throws, or it could've been even worse. I think I saw at least 3 replays, maybe more, where Ram DBs got burned on double moves. I think the secondary was trying to cover for the front 7 getting absoby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That's one of the things about McVay I haven't gotten for some time. Even if the offense is clicking in the pass game, why go empty in those situations? I'm not saying that you have to run it, but at least have the threat of a run.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
The empty backfields drive me crazy overall, especially on 3rd and 1 or 2, which they always seem to run in the hurry up. It sure would've been nice if Akers could've touched the ball more than once in the drive we had down one score in the 4th quarter. I believe the only touch he got was on another wildcat that drive...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yep, that is a nice, clean summary. I know AD wasn't healthy, but man the front just got completely dominated, and the Oline seemed to wear down later in the game, although they performed at least admirably.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you overall...glad they battled back and kept this a game. I know the Pack have AR and a great offense, but our defense stunk in both pass and run defense. Overall, I'd say it was a good season, BUT the clunkers still stick in my craw, led by the Jets game of course. Having said that, finishing in the top 8 was a success.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I watched it in slow motion several times after the game. His knee never seemed to bend or turn in a weird way. One of the Seattle lineman stepped on his foot while he was engaged in a block with a WR with his leg planted.. He immediately grabbed both sides of his knee and limped off. I wasn't optimistic after seeing this and was surprised that they said it wasn't serious. Now, I'm not surprby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Two burned timeouts in the first 3:30 of the game...oh the memories. Also, how could Theisman say that Torry's first quarter TD wasn't a catch. Bizarre...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com

Paul Edinger!! I watched the games at my wife's grandparents house and they lived on Edinger Way. That was a fun day, as was the comeback the following week against the Saints, who they played on that last regular season Sunday was great too, until Az fumbled that punt. If he fields that ball, who knows what happens that post season.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I was screaming at the TV on that one. He blatantly got tackled!! Hard to believe that isn't called right there.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Gay has obviously steading the kicking game, but overall the special teams have got to be a liability and aren't good enough to make a deep playoff run. Both the return and coverage units have been somewhere between poor and downright awful. Hecker has been far from a top 5 punter like we've been accustomed to as well. I'd say that their failure is right up there with the offense this season.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay has consistently went into shot gun with an empty backfield on 3rd and 1 or 2...drives me crazy!! I remember on one drive in the second half, Brown had a nice, 12 yard run for a first down and McVay immediately goes empty, for most of the next several plays. Why not try to build on that, or at least have Brown in the backfield as a play action threat? That INT was bad though. One ofby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the air went out of our sails there. Definitely one of the worst INTs I've seen in recent memory. I've been a staunch defender, but man this is wearing on me.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
