Listening to the podcast now. 7 consecutive passes immediately after falling behind 21-10 midway through the 2nd quarter. At this point in the game Henderson had 6 carries for 55 yards.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
the rotation and the bullpen have been far from the problem. Inconsistent offense and shoddy defense have plagued this team throughout the season, which was on full display on Saturday night against the 105 loss Dbacksby sacram - Bucky's Pub
If this study proves to be accurate on a wide scale, then herd immunity would be much easier to reach wouldn't it? One caveat (I didn't read the study), is how long does the person have antibodies after infection in comparison to a person after vaccination.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Unfortunately those early numbers are outdated, as the Delta variant seems to be breaking through quite a bit more. Not sure what the percentage is, but I think it is well above 4-5% of those early variants.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh I think the vaccines did prevent covid, with the early strains...the virus has been free to roam and replicate all over the world due to both vaccine hesitancy and some countries not having access to vaccines, and it has mutated because of this. It seems that each new strain that is emerging, is becoming more and more contagious and is breaking through on vaccinated folks more consistently.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes it was quite a day! Cody Bellinger better star hitting and fast, as he is going to find himself on the bench. Both of our teams obviously improved yesterday. Merry XMas in July Todd!by sacram - Bucky's Pub
the more I hear about these variants, it sure seems like we're heading for a booster. Even if it stops serious illness (which it does), stopping transmission should also be the goal of a vaccine, and it sure seems like this waning more and more with each new variant...by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Man, it sounds like you've had quite a year! Thinking positive thoughts for you to get through all of this! Hopefully the Rams can give you an escape during all of this. Take care...by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Got my second shot on Tuesday. My wife and other immediate family are fully vaccinated. My daughter turns 12 in August and will be getting hers shortly after her birthday. I have absolutely no issue getting it, as it is getting us closer to getting past this pandemic.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
That's exactly what came to me immediately when I heard this. I know he is still young, but he is a family man now. No need to be out clubbing at 3am, as like you said NOTHING good can happen in that scenario. If this is true, this is very disappointing...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
It sure seems like the Whiners would be better off next year, with JG at QB with the rookie as his understudy. A rookie QB starting from day one seems like it could be trouble to me.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
this is exactly what the Rams did to get JG, and what they've been doing ever since to trade for players. It is a risky proposition for sure.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
For better or worse, it's good to have a GM and Head Coach in sync. And Snead and McVay are. They trust each other. "We want to sign Jared now, Sean." "OK, I trust you." "This isn't working any more, Les. We need to move on from Jared." "Ok, Sean..." I think this is mostly right, with the exception of possibly other folks being involved in some of theseby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
My first memories of Musburger was him calling NBA games in the late 70's when many of the games were tape delayed and broadcast late at night. He was also the studio host for many of the Laker championship runs into the 80's. I've always his play calling..his reference to betting lines during college football games have always cracked me up.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
JG is being seen as an average at best QB, and that he is sure to fail ultimately. I think JG is widely regarded as a QB who McVay basically created and has now given up on, despite the team giving him a mega contract recently. We should be learning alot about both JG and SM in the next 2-3 seasons.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
On the cap, I sure hope your right, as our chips are all pushed in once again! If something like what your suggesting doesn't happen, it would be a big blow...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Piazza to the Marlins The signing of Jason Schmidt and Andrew Jones Bettis to the Steelers for a 3rd round pick :banghead:censored:confusedby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
with the Rams was finalized with the brutal INT he threw in Seattle? I'm sure McSnead was already somewhat down on him, but that may have pushed it over the edge. Obviously, I'm just spit balling, but that INT stood out as particularly brutal. Regardless of what you think of Goff's play, this was handled about as bad as it possibly could've been. Just brutal...JG definitely deserved better.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
no matter what anyone within the organization thinks of JG, he did lead the team to a superbowl and has led this team to many wins over the last few years. Again, I'm not arguing about his QB play one way or another, but IMHO he is being disrespected and deserves better.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Regardless of whether they still think Goff can be THE guy to lead this team back to another Super Bowl and with not knowing what is going on behind the scenes, I think this is being handled very poorly by McVay and Snead. Its just a bad look.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I tend to agree Sure Goff has struggled at times, and needs to be more consistent to take this team to the next level. Having said that, Snead and McVay definitely deserve a fair amount of blame as well. This is just a bad look. Can we bring in competition for the GM and head coach too?by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
that all 3 of those units didn't perform anywhere close to their capability on Saturday. That top 3 ranking sure didn't hold up against top notch competition, although AD's injury surely affected their play somewhat. I wonder what PFF would rank these units for Saturday's performance?by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That very thought hit me after this game. I don't have any stats to back it up, but it seems to me that McVay tends to get pass happy in these matchups. The most frustrating thing about this, is that one of those guys coaches the Whiners, UGH!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Van Jefferson too! I know it is a smaller sample size, but he looked very good today. I'm thinking he could have a bright future as well.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yep, overall it was a successful season for sure! Having said that, they will have to get over the total inconsistency in their play. If we had won some of the games against teams we should've beat, maybe we wouldn't of had to travel to Lambeau this early in the playoffs. But again, I agree with you overall!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
No, it wasn't a good game by the O, but they had pretty limited opportunities as well. Missing Kupp hurt, but VJ sure looked good. With Akers and Van being added to this offense, I think they could have a bounce back year next season.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Not going to win too many games when your defense gives up nearly 500 yards of offense, while the opposing offense holds the ball for over 36 minutes, and gets a total of 2 stops the entire game. The pack scored on every possession except for those 2 that they punted, and they took a knee when going in for another score. The pack also nearly had a 29 second TD drive to end the first half.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah obviously AR and the Packer offense are probably the best offense we've faced, but the Defense played an awful game to go along with that. There were a couple drops and a couple errant Rodgers throws, or it could've been even worse. I think I saw at least 3 replays, maybe more, where Ram DBs got burned on double moves. I think the secondary was trying to cover for the front 7 getting absoby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
That's one of the things about McVay I haven't gotten for some time. Even if the offense is clicking in the pass game, why go empty in those situations? I'm not saying that you have to run it, but at least have the threat of a run.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
