Yeah the offense really did look a lot different than what we've seen in the first four games. It wasn't as dynamic as usual, dare I say a little predictable. It was very strange in comparison. Seemed to me that McVay realized this was a huge division game and just overthought everything. Hopefully as he gains more experience he'll get past these "rookie jitters."by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I've said it many times as we've all seen it many times. He tends to run east/west way too much while looking for a hole to run through and it ends up being a very short return. With his speed he should immediately run north/south and take what he can get. Guarantee his numbers would be better. But there is that fumbling issue...by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

Now, after watching this again, I take back my earlier comment that Goff led Kupp too far. Goff did great on this play. He looked off the safety, looked back, stepped up in the pocket and threw a nice ball. It really looks like Kupp kind of short-armed the catch. I wish this was in slo-mo. Do you guys see that too?by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think it was an impossible catch, but if he caught it, it would have been a great catch. The throw was out in front of him just a little too far. If Goff had taken just a bit off of the throw it would have been perfect as that split second would have given Kupp the time to run into the ball. I put this on Goff more than Kupp. All in all, he was wide open and we should have made thby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteGreatRamNTheSky Tough loss for the Rams yesterday in a game that turned out to be a defensive ball game. I give credit to the Seahawks for the game they played on defense and the Rams too. It came down to two plays. QuoteOld Goat But it's early, and I'm a Rams fan. Sorry to invoke it, but I truly have not felt like this since '99. Every week, I waited for it to crash. I wanted it to be for real so bad. When we beat the 9ers and Bruce cried, I cried with him. Every week I had to pinch myself and make sure it was real. It wasn't until we were actually in the playoffs that I let it take over. QuoteRFL I saw your headline and a powerful revulsion flared up in me. While the team floundered, we have been consoling ourselves with draft hopes for DECADES! QuoteSuh-weet! QuoteThe_Bad_Guy Textbook, too. I will also point out, again, about Gurley's position at the time Goff commits to making the throw. Gurley isn't even with either Cowboys' defender ... but Goff is seeing it 10-12 yards further down the field. A quarterback simply can't throw that route any better ... it terms of anticipation and accuracy. Especially considering the fact - if yby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteden-the-coach Sorry I shed no tears for Dean Spanos because he thinks he owed a stadium without putting up a dime. I'm so glad the Rams are done with that type of owner as Georgia was the same way. ESK is putting up a ton of his own cash and I realize that Spanos does not have the equity, but he needs to put in something, but no, he feels it should be given to him. QuoteMamaRAMa come on. It DOES mean something. Maybe not to YOU, but to some. College rankings sure as heck mean something, why not NFL rankings? It's cool if you don't look at them, but I do. QuoteSpeed_Kills I thought I saw someone post an article that said that even if he goes he will be WR3 I don't think we get a full speed Watkins this week and yes TA's impact on the jet sweeps has increased weekly and allowed Gurley more run room. It seems to me that his technique hasn't changed since he's been in the league. He's always relied on the speed and lean to get around the LT. Well, if that's all that's on tape, LTs are going to know how to counteract that. IMO, if he would change up his game plan from time to time, it might make the LT wonder what he's going to do next.
