the 3 backup QBs are all highly mobile - which
*can* really help against a porous OL.....sometimes.
Bortles, Allen & Wolford showed out with very good escapability and movement skills throwing on the run and buying time.
Ballen has really stepped up and is throwing the ball the way I had hoped & saw at times in his career....but he still throws unnecessarily hard sometimes and must calm down when he panics and is moving. Wolford really impressed me while playing in the failed Spring league...he's a bit more accurate while rolling out/escaping. I think it's interesting that Goff is the only one that is NOT the mobile athlete that any of the other 3 QBs are and think McVay's personal preference is a more mobile QB - ala Mayfield type.
