My cousin wrote a book. It's a new book about the bandit Joaquin Murietta filled with documents he discovered in various locales - private letters, museums, etc. He tried to sell it on Facebook BUT... they won't let him. Here's their exact rejection quote on the second submission to sell it there - "We received your request and reviewed your listing again. We confirmed that it doesby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
in some way... maybe a local newspaper movie reviewer? You know more about movies, (at least current movies), than any person I've ever known... if fact, it's not even close. You are the champ and there doesn't even exist a worthy contender. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I think Staley is making all the difference in the world. I can see resigning Williams and Mack as helpful but they have to seriously address their defense... if they do that, then who knows?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

I have an app on my Apple TV called Vudo... you probably know of it? I had never clicked on it until last night when I decided to see what was on it. I got a big surprise: Vudu has thousands, I think maybe tens of thousands, of movies available... so I was scrolling thru them and while doing so noticed that I had only heard of about 1 out of every 200 I looked at. I don't think those couldby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
But that was yesterday.... today I cant' remember any of his instructions. The I got a text from a guy who did some yard work for me and it was his bill... and a thingie-ma-giggie that I was supposed to scan to pay him. Remember when you could use money to pay for things? Took me a half hour to set up the thinga-ma-giggie reply app. I'm falling behind in tech knowledge. Like... WAY bby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
:laughing Well, that would be amazing... I hadn't talked to him in 2 years... so he studied up on the 'hunch' that I, a Ram fan that he didn't know was a Ram fan, would call him that day. Ummmm, I'm going with no, there, that didn't happen. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
let me explain... Stafford getting the 'cold shoulder' is insane. Makes no sense at all. But at the same time: And while he won a SB... and what more do you want? Well, I want another. MANY on this board posted that ONE was good enough for the Stafford trade to prove itself.. and yup, that makes perfect sense to me, now that he's won a SB... at the same time... Posted long ago, before laby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
and again... I'm not saying this well at all... he was NOT kissing my butt. He was a football fan.. knew the game well. Believe me... I don't get into long conversation with those who are not objective about things... I do not mind some bias, hell, I expect it.. you're not a real fan if you don't have some bias. :laughing The guy was quoting stats to me for Stafford, Kupp, others, in relationby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm not a big fan of Keanu.. although I think he's very much improved his craft, (acting). I think he's now a mediocre actor but chooses entertaining films to star in. As you know I'm also not a fan of extreme violence... but I liked this movie, so why? Well, for me Jon Wick is not 'realistic' violence, and that's it in a nutshell. Fantasy violence.. Star Wars, Diehard... I can handle.... mby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
He's a Charger fan. That's what made it so strange... I think what I didn't get across in that message is that: As a NON-Ram fan he was in awe of the Rams. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
my grandson, one of them, IN SCHOOL knew when it happened .00000000000008 seconds after it happened. He's a 4.2 (I still haven't figured out how you can be over 4 these days), student so I guess I can't complain.... but it does make me wonder what in the hell he's doing while in class. After re-signing Williams and now Mack he's convinced his Chargers will this year challenge the Rams to SoFby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
about the complexity of being a sound engineer. While I don't have a lot of experience in studio recording I've got a LOT of experience doing sound checks on stages setup and run by sound engineers. I've experienced poor sound engineers, mediocre ones, and a handful of true masters because it IS rocket science, as you say. Without any doubt the best setup I was ever fortunate enough to playby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not a lot... maybe, geez I don't know... half dozen times? Maybe a few more than that... but not in a LONG time. I'm not fond of it. Like you I much prefer live performances. BUT... there is one thing I like better about recording than live performances, and it's no small thing: I sound a LOT better to myself when listening to what was recorded than i do to myself when playing live. I don't speak with him very often.... but I needed to get some stuff done for my sister which required special forms - E-documents... so I called him. I'd say it took 10 minutes on the phone to get things worked out... but I was on the phone with him for 1 hour and 6 minutes, ( I checked).... why you ask? Well, no, asking why didn't even occur to you but I'm going to tell you anyway... The Rby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Back when we used to play 30 to 50 gigs a year maybe I made money.... but I bought a LOT of equipment. A new drum kit is not cheap. :laughing Add sticks, mics, amps, stands, percussion accessories.... if I made any money at all it was very little. :laughing I will miss my current band, no doubt. Very good memories. I will NOT miss completely changing our song repertoire. We've been playby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I think I did. But anyway.... our lead guitar player is moving away... been our lead guitar player since about 1996. He's moving to Texas at the end of the year. We have two gigs lined up before then... a grand opening - we were supposed to play at a local bar last year and the night before we were to play it burned down. They're been rebuilding and want us to play for their grand opening.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I agree with you, and the others here, that believe that last loss to SF was about as depressing as it get... especially the way it happened. There was no good reason to lose that way. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
similar situation to the Rams before acquiring Stafford.... a roster 'likely' ready to make a SB bid but a QB shy. That said... I agree it looks to be too much to give up. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

IMHO, and the opinion of many... TB was a stronger opponent than GB.... no one can argue that Rodgers career-wise, especially in the playoffs, was superior to Brady. Then the Rams beat the very same team that beat GB... SF. No, I'm not buying that the Ram's had the easy, or even the easier, route to the SB... in fact, I think it's nonsense. Note: That's my argument, not saying you think dby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
thankfully it's not muttered all that often.... that SF won the SB for us by taking out Dallas and GB. I may be alone in this... but I believe the Ram's would have taken out Dallas with ease.... and beaten GB as well although not as easily. The fear I saw on this board this year about having to meet GB was as strong as I've ever witnessed over the years. In fact, it wasn't fear, it was teby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
not a doubt in my mind it was exactly as you describe. The AZ game may be forgotten about, eventually.... but the TB, SF, Cinn games I think reached to as close to immortal as a game can get in the NFL.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
of what was riding on that game... and then to win it the way they did. I wouldn't say they could 'never' have recovered... but it would have been a generational setback.... now if SF had gone on to win the SB, in SoFi, welllll... that may have very well meant 'never'.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
came across this tonight, I was NOT looking for it. I had read this first very long ago.. just a kid, before I was a 10.... and it ripped my heart out. I'm kind of, just kind of, getting over the 'shock' and settling in to pride and satisfaction. These days I'm walking with a little skip in my step.... when I travel out I'm grinning at all times knowing that nearly everyone I pass by is mourning their Niners, maybe Raiders, and bright green with envy looking at my Rams Super Bowl Champ cap! I think Toshiro is most famous for "Seven Samurai".... as you know one of the top rated films of all time. Hard for younger people to watch these days but when you watch Seven Samurai you're seeing film making innovation that continues to influence films today. The Magnificent Seven is entirely based on "Seven Samurai". When I majored in Dramatic Arts in College I loby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
In regards to music this is the strangest personal oddity of all, and that because of the number of times it has happened... hundreds? Hell, maybe thousands...
